Ftp Running On Xbmc?
« on: February 24, 2005, 10:54:00 AM »

Im new to this scene and xbox in general.
I got the newest xbmc, and trying to stream video to the box, but almost every time i go to the smb(workgroups) it says something about a bad name?
Everytime i try to go to my music it just shows me a screen with a general e**** fault and that ftp is running on port 21 username/pass and hit a key to reboot.

How do i stream video to the box without getting theese errors?

Sorry for bad explenation and spelling.

Ps: i got an router witch the box is connected to, dynamic ip ofcourse, and i dont think theese errors accours when the xbox network cable is unplugged.

Did you follow the instructions for updating xbmc or is this a clean install?

Delete /xbmc/albums/*.db and e:/tdata/0face008/*

If you continue to get the emergency recovery screen try changing to the 'alternative mplayer' in settings. If they continue get another build
