I thought it was about time to reveal what I've been working on the last week. To sum up briefly, Iso2God is a legal alternative to gdf2content that's included in some of the 360 SDK releases. It saves you the job of having to burn an ISO to a DVD, rip it with NXE, then run it through NXE2GOD. Now you can just convert the ISO image to a GOD and transfer it your 360 HD via FTP or whatever. In testing, converting a full ISO image takes around 3-4 minutes, so is actually a fair bit quicker than gdf2content as well! Full details are in the nfo below, so I won't duplicate them here as well.

If anybody has any comments, suggestions, bug reports or whatever, reply to this thread rather than sending a PM please. Also please check out the known issues in the nfo first.

In a future release we'll be adding automatic extraction of the default.xex thumbnail for use in the GOD container, as well as looking at allowing you to more easily create GOD containers out of any homebrew XEX release.

I wonder, does this work for XBox 1 BC games as well, or only 360 games?  I'd assume only 360 games.

Also, wtf, which is it? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

@jhoff80: title info is one thing, and provides the directory name (e.g. 4851031F); title name is the actual game name.

@hfmls: at least try to read the nfo.

Would I be right to think that System Updates aren't included in the output?

I've installed a game to my HD using NXE, which results in a 4700MB folder and Iso2god creates a 7.08GB folder, but the ISO is 7.29GB, so I'm guessing something's left out and also that System Updates don't get put in the game folder, but please correct me if I'm wrong.

"It saves you the job of having to burn an ISO to a DVD, rip it with NXE, then run it through NXE2GOD"

You should have the original if you have an ISO, therefore you shouldn't even need this tool.

Don't have the original? stop being a pikey and buy it.

This tool is great. Some games have over 8000 files that you have to ftp to the 360 HDD.  Fragmentation could be an issue with that. If the next update for this tool manages to get the game size at exacltly the size you get when using Xbox Image Browser to extract all files --> major win.

Remove the system update folder, put the right PNG in the container (or let the user insert custom PNG!?) and this tool could be used my ms to release GOD via live!   (IMG:style_emoticons/default/jester.gif)

How do we use Title Updates with Iso2God created folders?

Is it simply a matter of loading them into Le Fluffie, going to the Security tab and selecting "Sign for Dev LIVE" and clicking Fix and then putting the fixed file in the Cache folder?

you simply put TU's in the cache folder no need to use le fluffie or any other app, there's nothing else to it.

but surely Iso2god patches the file in the 00007000 folder (which is the default.xex renamed) and I didn't think unpatched TU's worked with patched default.xexs.
