Xbox 360 Dashboard Themes
« on: January 28, 2010, 01:36:00 PM »

It was suggested to open a new topic for this so that is what I am doing.  I have done this for the wii loaders at http://wii.spiffy360.com and had a site for xbox gamercards, but with the recent release of these new dashboards, I have used the same theme idea as the wii theme site and created the Spiffy 360 site for Xbox 360 Dashboard themes. Right now you can upload themes for Xexmenu and Freestyle dashboards.  I will add others as they are released, but if I miss one, feel free to send me a PM on here or on http://spiffy360.com and I can add your dashboard.  There is a poll up on my site asking about NXE Dashboard Themes and whether I should add those or not.  I think it would be a great additions to allow for people to post their custom themes they made for the NXE, but not sure if MS would like that and I dont want to get in trouble, so I am looking for suggestions.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions, concerns or suggestions.  When you register on either site, you will have access to both - FYI

This's the right topic!

How I can create/edit the *.xur / *.xui files to creates themes?

I have a lot ideas for themes, but I don't know how I can make it real.

You have to use the Xbox UI Authoring Tool that comes with the SDK.  As far as I know there are still no official tutorials yet.  A video clip or something would be great and as soon as a tutorial emerges, I will be sure to post it on my site.

I'm starting making a new theme, but I have some troubles: I want to change the size of Navs buttons of Freestyle Dash. I changed the size of png and in the XUI files, I make animations, but in navs buttons are showing blinking a big square white. Somebody can help me?

Thanks!

I have allowed for custom NXE themes to be added on the site now and have added a few to get things started. If you add some, please try to keep it in the same format as mine. DO NOT post themes that are available on Xbox Live or they will be taken down and your account will receive a warning strike.
