Uploaded version 1.02, has much faster ftp and cooler gpu usage.

Reason for slow ftp / high gpu temp was there was no frame rate limit on the program, so sat running at 400+ fps with 100% cpu/gpu usage. Capped to 60fps, and now ftp is much better.

How to solve this problem on  V1.0 sources?

Awesome work...  Cleanest looking dash by a mile.  It'll be unbeatable if/when a file browser/copyDVD function is implemented and having the scraper inbuilt into the dashboard.

Unbelievably great first release, I hope to see more of it in the future, keep up the good work.

Looks like this might be another dash that needs to be added to the spiffy360.com theme database

QUOTE(shiz @ Jan 27 2010, 06:26 PM) *

so a few questions:
1. Can this be the full time dash that i see when i first turn on the xbox, or do i have to run it every time?
2. How exactly do you install it...the read me isnt very specific

1. as far as i know the default dash that boots can't be replaced (yet), but earlier in this thread there were instructions on using an .iso to autoboot the .xex from a drive, which should get you straight to Freestyle from the power button.
2. copy it somewhere and run it.

This dash is HOT muhaha.gif ....the game preview screen are amazing. It's like having a virtual Gamestop in your 360.

Please keep on this, it has much potential!

having trouble with the way the folders are set up.

i have it like this

\Games\     in the games folder I have a seperate folder for every game like

usb0:\Games\Army of Two\  and in the army of two folder the files are present. But the program doesnt see any game available.

when i try the same thing on Xexmenu, it shows the games fine.

also for XBLA i have it set up like this

usb0:\Content\

then i put the folder with the XBLA game in it but it doesn't show either. I'm probably doing something wrong.
