Hi, i just bought a console with JTAG done but i have no internal HDD or memory card at the moment to use.
It's a non HDMI console, xenon right?

is it possible to use a usb PEN or usb HDD to run XEXMENU 1.1 and copy games to same USB?

Is it possible to use a usb pen or usb hdd to save games progress?

If not, will it be? Please answer.
I think a lot of users would like to know this too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

You can run XEXMenu from a disk and read/write files from your pen drive. You cannot make any gamesaves to any non-M$ drives.

No HDMI w/ XBR means you have a Xenon.

you could burn xexMenu.iso to a disk and put all the homebrew aplications on a fat32 formated usb pen but as for saving dont believe you would be able to.

I would solder a SATA cable onto the mainboard and plug in a HDD.
With XBReboot you can use any HDD you want.

Well you can use any Hdd you want if your gonna just put games on it. But if you have any DLC it has to be on a microsoft Hdd or a Laptop slim Hdd. Also xexmenu wont show up in NXE unless its on an non-usb drive.
I have a 500 gb usb hdd that I would love to use as my main Hdd to keep all my games AND DLC...unfortunatley its not possible...at the moment...IM sure as soon as I buy a 640 GB laptop Hdd someone will release a tool to make a USB Hdd work like a stock one...

can u point out how do u do that?

after that i can just plu HDD to that cable and xbox assumes it's internal?

what about power to the HDD?
