XeXMenu v1.1
« Reply #90 on: January 28, 2010, 02:05:00 PM »

I just installed a 320GB 7200RPM Western Digital Scorpio Black (WD3200KTRTL). It seems to be having the same problem as some people who have upgraded their hard drives. Xexmenu worked fine until I copied a game to the Games folder on the xbox HDD. This doesn't seem to be a problem with the HDD because it works fine with the NXE dash, xexloader, and nxe2god. It's only a small bug in Xexmenu and will surely be fixed soon. I'm looking forward to the next update.

I found a bug, or should I say a compatibility issue with certain .xex files:

Due to the fact that we may add applications to x:\applications\appname\default.xex
XeXMenu will always scan, build game lists cache and extract info from the .xex file; but what happens with .xex files like Autospeed.xex (for fan speeds, patch or not) ?

XeXMenu will freeze, lock up your 360 and sometimes throw off E71.

Power off and back on and it's all good.

Just sharing a finding.

Cheers.

can I use CopyDVD with original games?

My copydvd fonction wasn't working before but I used the trick of someone in the thread and now it's working like a charm!

it's all about the timing!

when you click on CopyDVD, the dvd drive ejects, press on the eject button and wait 5 seconds, you'll hear the drive loading the disc, that's when you gotta press confirm!

worked for me!

thanks to the guy who found this!

Read the thread a little bit.
Close the tray manually and let it spin a bit before you hit A to start the copy process.

Yeah I already tried that one before reading the thread  wink.gif . The only way I can get it all working is load the games with Xexloader 0.26 (which freezes ocassionally) then patch with xexmenu 1.1.

Im also getting the freezing issue if I have a games folder on hdd1 official 120gb hard drive. Had to use Xport 360 to rename the folder on my pc, then freeze issue went away. Also applications dont show up in the applications tab when putting them in the applications folder.

Apart from that very sweet indeed,  FTP feature is awesome and very fast too.
