This works well with my moddified fanspeed.xex which makes the fans go 100% full power, keeps the gpu/cpu cool.

Can you tell me more on this?
I want to experiment with different speeds but not sure where to start, some of the fan apps seem a little dodgy atm.

another cool feature would be launch arcade games, so we could store them into custom directories ( 0D3425F, DE456A9, etc... its a little confusing... ohmy.gif )

Thanks for the work XeDev, great release

You can do this yourself if you want.  Copy the 0D3425F... folder to your pc, open and extract files with wxpirs, copy files back to 360 in your custom named folder, launch default.xex

To go even farther you could put all those custom folders in hdd:\games and have them show up in xexmenu's list of games

Stop using HFS+ drives the 360 CANT WRITE TO IT! The copydvd function will not work. FAT32!

Great APP guys, Loving it.

It seems that the file manager has been improved dramaticly... no more freezes for me and the FTP is awsome.

1 Question: Can we have or does this have a way to lock it so that you can only view games list and choose what to play?

The idea is to make it childsafe.

Thanks.

Mellow out, man - they just want to READ from it.  HFS reads out much faster than FAT32 for copying from USBx to HDD1.

I bet your drive is formatted to HFS+, 360 cant write to HFS drives format to FAT32.

Today is a very big day. this marks history. THANK YOU to the talented developers for releasing this. I'll be donating for your time.

QUESTION
Being that it can read/write to the nand directly, can I replace dash.xex with something else?  cool.gif

No, both my JTAG'd 360's have stock 120GB HDD's.XeXLoader .26 worked fine for the most part.Doesn't work at all now.

Also it would be REALLY REALLY nice to get some RENAME function in here! I don't know why it's being put off, it's such a pain have to cut and paste into new dir all the time.

I'd be using the FTP function to accomplish all of this - much easier to use a real keyboard and file manager (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

when u extract the file and get the pure files.. they get locked again and turn into trial...

so unless u have a new way toget the games to stay full i want in lol
