QUOTE(Pacotera @ Jan 17 2010, 04:41 PM) *

Why would anyone use a iso loader?

If you extract the game, it gets smaller (bioshock 7.7gb -> 4gb folder)

I think this way is great like it was in XBOX 1 scene

Some of us would like the skip the burning of an iso to disk.

Disclaimer: I'm totally new to this. My Jtagged box will arrive in the mail in the coming days, and I've been looking around this and other sites for information.

My Xbox is going to arrive without XeXloader or anything of that nature installed. It will only have Xbr. What steps should I take to install Xexmenu? Hopefully, the information leading to this venture will allow me to use other applications and reduce the need to ask this type of question. Thanks to anyone who will help.

Shouldn't he go for the new XeXmenu or is it not possible to install it without XeXloader ?

is the CopyDVD function working for anyone?

After hitting Confirm, I just get dumped back to the menu for the destination directory - no progress meter shows up.
nobody?

I'm having the same problem, the "CopyDVD" function just dumps me back at the browser.

well i figured point him to xexloader first cause XEXmenu seems like more of an upgrade?  As long as he made a CODE999 folder I guess he could just skip straight to xexmenu?

way i like is is xex loader and xexmenu personally...just for now I like to wait before I switch to only xexmenu and compare

and as you can see by above posts made sometimes there are kinks in new software...I also got no love from one disk i tried saboteur but it never worked for me i think cuz of bad scratch i cant even back it up on pc lol but anyways i keep trying it in different launchers and in this one it just skipped straight away

But the ftp worked so good that i didnt even care

my post from another thread..  took the time to write it but more people will read this one b/c of front page..
its just some quotes of some temps and others post your temperature readings along with mobo type and any mods you may have done...

To put things into perspective temperature wise

It's great  biggrin.gif  . The FTP and temperature features are excellent!. I've got FlasFXP running on my PC so I can browse all the files on my 360 just like oldschool Xbox1 days. It's also interesting to see all the current temps. My Falcon after idling for about 30min = CPU: 57.8C GPU:72.7C EDRAM:77.6C MB:34.9C. GPU seems a bit hot for the console just idling.

CPU: 57.8C = 136.0ºF  dry.gif
GPU: 72.2C = 162ºF  muhaha.gif
RAM: 77.6C = 171.7ºF  muhaha.gif  muhaha.gif

WOW HOT!! next one shall we....
QUOTE
temps on my xenon for whoever asked -

CPU - 80
GPU - 71
EDRAM - 70
MB - 30

after sitting idle for 10-15 minutes  ohmy.gif

CPU: 80C = 176ºF  muhaha.gif  muhaha.gif
GPU: 71C = 159.8ºF  muhaha.gif
RAM: 70C = 158ºF  muhaha.gif
MB: 30C = 86ºF

I would seriously start looking into water-cooling if you wish to keep your jtaggable box, remember these are getting harder and harder to find new so..... you could always buy a used box and hope its not updated but um yeah... not fun
QUOTE

cpu-72
gpu-60
ram-56
mb 31
all with the penny trick and 3 fans lol

CPU: 72C = 161.6ºF  muhaha.gif  muhaha.gif
GPU: 60C = 140ºF   muhaha.gif
RAM: 56C = 132.8ºF  dry.gif
MB: 31C = 87.8ºF

still hot enuf to RROD over long periods of time... and remember these temps are at idle... they get even hotter when playing games don't forget that.
QUOTE
Haha, great app.

I couldnt connect with flashfxp at first then realised I was still looking at my ip settings an hadnt loaded Xexmenu

Cpu 61.4 Gpu 61.7 EDRAM 59.3 MB 30.5 (been sitting on dash an hour or so and the xbox has the Hybrid uniclamp and a 7V fan mod )

CPU: 61.4C = 142.5ºF  dry.gif
GPU: 61.7C = 143.1ºF  dry.gif
RAM: 59.3C = 138.7ºF  dry.gif
MB: 30.5C = 86.9ºF

not too too bad.... how is that mod? loud or tolerable? thinking of hooking up my water-cooling unit on my jasper but it is currently on one of my zephyr boards, and obviously needs it more and 7v might bring temps town to a tolerable level for me....do you have a link, i would search Google but ATM I am typing this up....

My temps? lol okay here we goes.. Love the jasper revision, its what SHOULD have been the 1st xbox360

Room Temperature 64ºF / 2hr Idle / No Mods / Jasper512

CPU: 47.7C = 117.9ºF   smile.gif
GPU: 54.2C = 129.6ºF smile.gif
RAM: 53.8C = 128.8ºF  smile.gif
MB: 28.0C = 82.4ºF

-Can't wait to hook up my water-cooling unit, that's next, might do it tonight and i was actually waiting for a temp monitor. so i could see my results, and i will be sure to post them.
-NOTE* that right now is winter , so your rooms are colder and less humidity.... These temps are being taken in a cooler ambient temps.,. I know there are a lot of factors like how high ur thermostats are set but w/e
-Point is.... temp readings at 161º - 171ºF = way to hot for idling... playing games = hotter a good 20 - 30ºF and when summer time arrives = even hotter.... well, you can see why these things RROD
-keep your rooms cool, Xbox runs cooler, if you heat in you room is high turn it down, and keep ac on in winter if you don't have mods and want to keep your Xbox alive,

I bet your drive is formatted to HFS+, 360 cant write to HFS drives format to FAT32.

Today is a very big day. this marks history. THANK YOU to the talented developers for releasing this. I'll be donating for your time.

QUESTION
Being that it can read/write to the nand directly, can I replace dash.xex with something else?  cool.gif

FTP is.... just great....
i'd like a option to a preview.wmv replaceing nxeart smile.gif
in the other hand... a "nxeart creator" would be cool too
another cool feature would be launch arcade games, so we could store them into custom directories ( 0D3425F, DE456A9, etc... its a little confusing... ohmy.gif )

Thanks for the work XeDev, great release

Couldn't be happier about the FTP feature  pop.gif

From 360 to PC getting just over 11Mb/s
From PC to 360 3-5Mb/s

Fantastic ap
