Watercooled Xenon:

CPU: 53
GPU: 45
MB: 37
RAM: 42

not too bad, nice and quiet at least.

Problem: I changed the skin and now have a blank screen.  I tried writing over the file but still have a blank screen.  also deleted unknown game.  no change.  any help?

Fantastic stuff, FTP was the biggie I was waiting for  love.gif  love.gif

Probably a stupid question, but does anyone know how to get Quix to open xbox 360 .isos? It connects the the 360's FTP just fine, and I am able to add the 360's drive and games folder, but when I try to open an xbox 360 .iso I get 'identifier not found! possible corruption?'

I appreciate Quix is older than the hills and made for the original xbox, but an old thread says that it can open 360 .isos?

I think I just killed my jasper, I moved a 190mb arcade game to the onboard 256mb memory.

Noticed the game didn't show up so I rebooted to see why and now I'm getting just the middle green light and the system won't boot. Xell won't load either.

Did it overwrite my XBR?

Any help would be much appreciated.

If it said "Do you wish to overwrite this crap ?" then yes, you did overwrite that crap sad.gif

Hopefully you have a backup of your nand like most of us. It is a time consuming process to reflash but you gotta do what you gotta do.

Yup the CopyDVD is definetly not working right, I went back to xexloader 0.26 and I can copy all my games, I think it is really picky about the disc being scratched or something. I was able to copy 1 game but another just kept dumping me back and when i copied it with xexloader it paused a lot to reread the disc at certain spots.

Also it would be REALLY REALLY nice to get some RENAME function in here! I don't know why it's being put off, it's such a pain have to cut and paste into new dir all the time.

I'm sure rename would be there if they were being paid more smile.gif. Give em some respect they deserve to use money as toilet paper but they do this for the fun of it, so dont complain when theres no rename

For the community this new xexmenu is the best thing since the jtag exploit, which simplified running code, this simplifies everything even further, and makes it look ownage.

---------------------------
MY TEMPS
--------------------------

CPU: 59.7C GPU 59.5C EDRAM 58C MB 44.0C Idle for like an hour, copying things over and stuff.

Zephyr revision motherboard
80mm side duct above GPU heatpipe and cpu (right front corner) at 12v, the heatpipe is bent up towards the fan.
X-clamp, arctic silver, small heatsink on H/ANA (e74 repaired on this one gotta protect it) does anyone know of the MB temp is the H/ANA? or the one to the left of it?

Blocked off right side to allow that fan to blow air around the case and not just out the side

Cut metal mesh behind plastic rear fan cover, and also cut metal grate behind right side mesh.

Also, this xbox is raised up to not be on a flat surface. The hard drive is on the side, lowering air flow.

HEPA filter next to the 360 reducing dust too! The fans are a lot less noticeable from that thing running all day, but at least there's less dust and other carcinogens I wish weren't an issue to have to deal with.

Curious about what it means by XBOX 1 support, and partition support.  Does this mean we can access the XBOX 1 partition, to add game saves and stuff, not that we can play xbox 1 games off the hard drive as well, correct?

Hi!

I have a really idiot question.. I got two brand new xbox 360s awaing FW change on their DVD drives. Does this mean that i dont need to change FW on them and can use this insted to be able to play some ripped games?

Also, I got one of the first xbox 360s with a 20gb harddrive, with the first FW realease.. Can that one use this?  huh.gif

How do I install it? Is it just to put on a usb stick and add it to programs?

Sorry about this dumb questions, but I havent been active on the xbox 360 news for the last couple of years.. And without asking you dont get answers...  unsure.gif

You have to perform the JTAG hack first.  If your xbox has been updated recently on live or through a recent game then you won't be able to use this.  You must have a pre-mid-Jun 2009 pre-8000 dashboard xbox in order to perform the hack.

Your first port of call would be in the newbies section, not the XeXDK development. Look up 'JTAG hack' and go from there.

Will this networking breakthrough (decryption) give the xdk remote access to hardware now/eventually?

No. DevKit has 2 net ifaces. I am currently working on a c++ class to send out debug values to remotely running socket client. you can push files to the 360, let them run with debug output, and see the output at the pc console.

this is helping and of course much easier than reading a logfile written to usb. My usb switch is no useless smile.gif
