I heard external USB drives is next, any truth to that?

Yes there is.  I don't know how he going to do it, but I'm sure he will figure out how.  Plus achievements will still show up according to what the author said.

When you ran NXE2GOD it saved the original container in a folder called "original" in the same directory as the game is installed.  Just use XeXLoader to move it back into place and rename the folder by replacing the 7 with a 4 in the 000X0000 directory where X should now be a 4.

I just want to use this for the games that didn't work with the first release. Will this mess up any games already on the hard drive because I don't want to delete everything and rip it again.

And how do I rename a folder on the 360 HDD? I can create a new folder but I can't rename the folder from 00007000 to 00004000 and just moving the original file back doesn't work, the game disappears from the list as soon as I try to see it after runnign NXE2GOD again. What a pain this is, only way to rename would be to copy teh whole game (7GB) to usb stick go to PC rename and copy back, might as well just rip the game again......

Old NXE2GOD V0.1 and V0.2 leaves folder structure like this:

Content\00000000000000000\titleid\00007000
Content\00000000000000000\titleid\00007000\LIVEFILE
Content\00000000000000000\titleid\00007000\LIVEFILE.data
Content\00000000000000000\titleid\00007000\original\CONFILE

What you want to do is use XexLoader to CREATE:

Content\00000000000000000\titleid\00004000

Then MOVE CONFILE and LIVEFILE.DATA in to there so you end up with:

Content\00000000000000000\titleid\00004000\LIVEFILE.data
Content\00000000000000000\titleid\00004000\CONFILE

Then the game will be back to the original NXE version. You can now run NXE2GOD V1.0 to convert it properly.

Or just re-rip if you find that easier.

V1.0 should be the final release so you don't have to worry about it anymore, if you've been holding off ripping your game collection like I know some people have then it's now safe to go ahead and do it.

The file fixing is ONLY for games that you ripped and tried to convert with v0.1 or v0.2 that DIDN'T work - It just saves you having to re-rip them. If they DID work the there's no need to do the above.

No this cannot be used with FreeBoot - I suggest you switch to XBR as it's currently a lot better than FreeBoot.

You *can* run it from FreeBoot but you need to patch hack.bin to match that of the recent XBR version:

Thanks to Fatum@XBH - personally have tested with Falcon and Xenon - both work with GoD containers after doing this.

NXE2GOD doesnt work with a cygnos360 V2 and freebootv0.0.2

I found a tut here how to install XBR 0.0.5 on a Cygnos360 V2 with FW 1.03b
After running XBR NXE2GOD works like a charm. I even didn't have to reinstall the games. They simply started to run. No more "...download again.." error.

Thanks a lot for making this !!!!

Thanks again for instructions, all games that wouldn't work like The Simpsons and Gears of War now boot. I had one more question is it possible to install older games like Guilty Gear XX Reload or any xbox 1 games I own with this. They were on the backwards compatibility list, also is it safe to use the compatibility file from xbox.com?
