NXE2GOD v1.0
Posted by XanTium | January 15 18:04 EST | News Category: Xbox360

Team XeDev released a new version of NXE2GOD, an application for homebrew 360s that will converts NXE installed games to Games on Demand.

What's new/fixed:
* Fixed issue where if you had more than one game with the same titleid, then converting the games would result in all games using that titleid being deleted except for one.
* Now have 100% compatibility with ALL games.
* Improved interactive interface with useful output.

I was wondering if using this method to run stuff had problems with Title Updates like XeXLoader does.

So I'm still confused a bit... is there any advantage of using NXE to do the install and then using NXE2GOD to have the NoCD ability versus installing the game straightaway with XexLoader besides just not having to launch XexLoader?

Also, how does this NXE2GOD/XexLoader work with multi-CD games like Lost Odyssey?

Thanks for the update m8, it's working fine for me now with a previous game it wasn't with before - The saboteur so I am happy.

Cheers.

I know for games like Dead Rising, Silent Hill Homecoming, COD World at War, The New Jurassic Park game, just to name a few suffer from game data files being too many and too small.

This makes it take forever to copy and/or not copy at all. (strong experience with COD WAW)

With this, you can have the game in chuncks of 162 MB files which are easily copied, moved and transfered between devices. And being console free, makes it perfect to install to other homebrew xboxes as well.

One more advantage is that you may delete the game from NXE instead of having to run XeXLoader and find the folder, select to delete that and the shortcut in /Content/0000000000000000/C0DE9999/00007000/GAMENAME

At least for this this works alot better than files in HDD and shortcuts... unless it's Halo 3 and I'm hacking the hell out of the maps

After reading this I installed forza 3, used nxe2god - run the game, installed disc 2, rebooted the game and everything works fine without needing a dvd. try reinstalling m8 as I can confirm forza 3 works great.

I am still using the first version released a couple of days ago. I just want to burn the games that weren't compatible with the first one. Can I just run this version with the games that didn't work before because I don't want to rerip the games already on the hard drive?
