i'm not english, so sometimes, some words or sentences can come out wrong, sorry.

i think joohan can make his own project too, but at least i made something to catch interest from other guys smile.gif
this has to go faster smile.gif joohan has only two hands, and probably only in free time he can code/work on this

no offence hfmls but you sound like an overexcited teenager. Let joohan just do his thing. You are not helping progress with your posts

Having worked on community projects before, its the type of posts that you make, trying to rush the progress of a project that push many developers away from a project.  It's quite frustrating as a developer having over-zealous forum members without any knowledge of the concepts and challenges faced in a project making demands or being pushy trying to get more functionality out of the project.

The reality is, these guys do this in their own time, they don't get paid for it, and they'll handle their project however they want to.  I'm sure joohan, or any other developer won't want you dictating how the project is run or what direction it should go.

I've lost count of how many times I got sick of answering ridiculous questions, answering the same support questions over and over because people were too lazy to lookup information 2 pages in a thread earlier etc.  It really makes people question why they waste their time on a project, or at least bother to make it public.

The only reason I wanted a jtagged 360 was to use it as a media center.  Sure the fan sucks, but I really want to be able to stream the files I have on my PC that I cannot stream with XBMC on my Xbox1.

I honestly think many people are just assuming an XBMC or something like it will eventually appear on the 360 and that is why there appears to be little interest in it.

joohan sent me a PM, he will upload files at sourceforge, but he said probably isn't the best place to do it. (i'll wait for an answer)

so, when it's available i'll say.

what does a build have to do with porting... you have to compile the source for a different platform anyway. and a two years old build doesnt mean the program wasnt updated.
vlc is very good, dont get me wrong. but i think mplayer might be easier to port over

I don't see a problem, but someone stuff to be done...
if the topic gets buried deep in the forums, and there is some news or updates, I'm pretty sure the Dev will be able to find his topic easily and keep you posted.

Mail notifications could work, but this is not the way to keep a project alive.

And sorry if you have to say sorry again, my suspicions will be true.
