Thanks to Pacm0n I've found the problem which can corrupt some converted games. Fix is in the works then I'd *like* to think I'll have 100% compatibility or at least 99.9% tongue.gif

@Pacm0n: thanks but no thanks, I just shared the stuff I found out by searching forums, here and xboxhacker.

I like to share stuff I learn and I take no credit for stuff found by other ppl.

Sorry I wasn't arround.... I left home for a while.

You still need those Gears 1 files? If so, let me know.

And what changes are you talking about when changing to a different HDD?

My Gears worked just fine.

This is how I tested it.

I ripped Gears 1 to a non-xbr 360, tested it with disc in tray, all worked fine.

Than, I put this HDD into my xbr hacked 360 and patched the file with le fluffie. Worked Fine.

After, I took the CON file to my PC and removed this HDD and put the other HDD where I first ripped the Gears game (this is the HDD I use for my XBR 360).

Tested and it mentioned something about (only playable on machine and hdd you ripped it for) blah blah blah

So I did the Hex magic and put it back and worked.

It did work on different consoles, and different HDD.

Maybe I'm just lucky.. who knows, but I'll wait for your update on NXE2GODv0.3  love.gif

Good work btw.

NXE2GOD v1.0 preview (1.0 cause I now consider it stable and bug free and worthy of a point release tongue.gif)

Fixed: Can now convert games that use the same title id etc. without overwriting the first one (Games from same publisher and/or series).

Fixed: ALL games should now convert and work thanks to users submitting me the files I required to track the bug down.

Will be out in a day or two.

why arent you using the full 320gb??

QUOTE(krizalid @ Jan 13 2010, 08:26 PM) View Post

blink.gif  I know...

Just run hddhackr again and run the undo, and you should be able to use the full 320GB

I was gonna do that when I had some time. The problem is I had done it with hddhackr like a week before I Jtagged and then filled it up with all my Arcade games,  and saves which took an eternity with Xplorer360 Xtreme. I figured I would need to reconnect the drive back to pc first, backup the entire current contents, then do the undo.bin in hddhackr, Here is a question, if i did this undo.bin  in the current drive state is in now with all my data Would it just undo the hddsbin and not Destroy my data? if that's the case, I would do it right now.

Backup to a USB HDD formatted to FAT32 using XeXLoader and/or Viper360 is the way to go buddy!!

Ok, once you've fixed the package CON with le fluffie and it becomes GOD open Hex Work Shop.

Go to... offset 22C in HEX and fill the following starting at that offset with FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF

Normally will be the console ID there something like (I'm just making this up)

A0 00 00 38 23 33 A5 F8

Than it follows up with 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 <<< don't do anything to these after you've filled the 16 F's, 8 bytes
This will make it playable on any console.
Cheers.

any work around to make the patched game work on kernel 7371 unmodded box? i installed the game to hdd in kernel 7371 unmodded box. patched it in xbr box. it works fine in xbr box but didn't show up in the game libaray of 7371 box.

Of course it won't work.  It only works in XBReboot.

There is a reason why It's only compatible on XBR homebrew machines. Everything that gets tampered looses ms signature and therefor unhacked consoles will not allow them to run.  tongue.gif

Just see if that box can be exploited via JTAG and flash XBR.

if it only works in xbreboot, why don't you use quickboot to load game from usb drive? you can hook up at least 2T usb drive with all xbox360 games.
