The Saboteur (PAL) works fine.

It might work for you - it doesn't for me.

I have installed this to hard drive and the game works fine from hard drive if the dvd is in the drive.
I applied the nxe2god program to it - now it says (even if a disc is in the drive or not) The game could not start, please download the game again.

The game was installed 100% and tested prior to using nxe2god - now it doesn't start, so I deleted it and reinstalled (3times) and always get the same.

I am using a flacon v3 motherboard with xbreboot 3.

I tried this with two games:

Gears of war 2 (pal) = works
Saboteur (pal) = doesn't work

I guess it's hit or miss if a game will work or not, thanks anyway.

I have Falcon also with XBR 3 and using a 320 scorpion WD drive hddhacked as a 250 gig and have installed approximately 20 games so far that are working fine. ( Gta IV, AC 1 and II, Darksiders,  BrutaLegend, Universe at War, Divinity II, MIrror's edge to name a few )    and of those 20,  the only one that gives me an error is Sabateur. Installs fine, Disk is perfect condition, but wont work after, gives the same error, also mine is NTSC, no big deal, just seems like an isolated issue with that specific game imo.

This program is great, it will be remembered as one of those milestones that links  and broadens the home brew community .. like the peak days of the original Xbox..  keep up the great work and thanks!

It might be worth it to investigate the differences between your setups if you really got opposite results from the same game.

The Saboteur USA definitely has  a problem with nxe2god.  When you install it on the hdd and leave the disc in the drive, then go to Xbox 360 Games menu, you can see both. The one that says the game disc is in the drive will play, the other that says you need a disc to play the game will give an error.

When you look at the 4541088F folder for that game inside Content, there's a file called original that is there too in addition to what should be there.  Also, the parent folder is 00004000.  Some games that work with NXE2GOD have 00007000 as the parent folder.

Hope that helps a bit to find the bug for similar games.  Keep up the good work on NXE2GOD, it rocks!

I'm getting the same issue with Dead Rising (PAL), that was with NXEGOD 0.1, will try again with 0.2. Looking at Dead Rising's folder contents the parent folder is 00004000 but theres no 'original' file as Pacman says. Hope this can be fixed.

Has anyone successfully gotten Lego Indian Jones or Fable 2 to work (both USA version)?

I used NXE2GOD and would say unable to start game.  I also tried to do it manually with Le Fluffie and it still would not work?

I am trying to find out what is different about my setup, or those games that makes it not work correctly.

Now we need one of the following:

ISO2NXE
ISO2GOD
DVD2NXE
DVD2GOD

Within Windows be sweet.
They are dreams of course, I'm not demanding these to happen.

Cheers.  love.gif

not sure if this was an issue with nxe2god or xbr.
I installed a bunch of games earlier, played a few. all worked.
But then after pressing the guide button and returning to dash, i can't launch another game.
instead i get the "game cannot be started mesage".
After a reboot, everything works again.  blink.gif

Ok sorry if I misled anybody. I redid some tests and found out that before applying NXE2GOD, the parent folder is always 00004000  rolleyes.gif

Once NXE2GOD is applied, the parent folder becomes 00007000 (I guess the author already knew that  jester.gif ).  But, I did find the file 'original' in 3 out of 4 games that I tried (but again it has no bearing on our problem).

Phantasy Star Universe, The Saboteur and Test Drive Unlimited all had the file 'original', yet only Saboteur doesn't work.  Rumble Roses Double X didn't have that file but worked.

Installed Tekken 6 (WAVE4) and Left 4 Dead 2 (WAVE5) all NTSC.  Plays no problem without the disc.
