Sorry for the confusion in the ini.. It should be:

Anything ripped from NXE and converted with NXE2GOD can be run on ANY console. So rip to console 1, run NXE2GOD, move files to console 2 and they will run. Or rip on console 1, move to console 2, run NXE2GOD and they will run.

Awesome, would love to be able to use this. But I need to be able to use isos and not actual disk. Any clue as to when we will be able to do the following:

extract iso - formatt as nxe hdd install(svod) - run NXE2GOD

Why not simply extract the iso to HDD and make a shortcut with QuickBoot ??
NXE2GOD is such a useless thing  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

@Looouky: work is in progress on that front.

@fred444: quickboot is a nice tool, but seamlessly merging ripped games in the NXE (NXE2GOD, DJ Sheperd's work...) definitely has its benefits.

I would also like a tool which could make an ISO to Games-On-Demand...
i would be damn glad if they could handle this. :-)

Furthermore it would be nice if they could kill the f***ing SystemUpdate-Files while copying with NXE2GOD.

the nfo says:

QUOTE

If you are transferring ripped games between consoles please rip the game, then
transfer it to the destination console, then run NXE2GOD on the destination
console. If you run NXE2GOD on the first console then transfer the files to the
destination console they will not work.

your telling us that you can rip on console1 then use nxe2god, and then transfer to console2 and it works.

so what is it?

Yeah, i have a 20gig HDD and there fits 1 game on it  pop.gif
Best solution for me is external HDD with Quickboot.

Unless there is no FTP app, I don't build in a larger HDD

Find this only usefull for games like Gears of War 2 that I don't want to mess with .xex patching in order to use the updates.

If the game is ripped with XexLoader or via XBC/USB than it will not use the updates on HDD unless you manually patch.

This is good for that reason other than the stethic achievements slide.

you shouldnt need to do any xex patching. xbr 3 supports loading unpatched xex files. title updates work this way.

if your running freeboot, consider getting rid of it because itll never be as good as xbr anymore.

I tried this with two games:

Gears of war 2 (pal) = works
Saboteur (pal) = doesn't work

I guess it's hit or miss if a game will work or not, thanks anyway.

The Saboteur (PAL) works fine.
