Yup just figured out how to transfer them between consoles. Will release an update shortly.

I just got the update.

Is there a conflict of informations in the readme?

Release Notes says:

"+Games converted with NXE2GOD will now be useable on any homebrew console, they
are no longer locked to the console they were ripped on."

But Install Notes says:

"If you are transferring ripped games between consoles please rip the game, then
transfer it to the destination console, then run NXE2GOD on the destination
console. If you run NXE2GOD on the first console then transfer the files to the
destination console they will not work."

Which one is true?

any way to create an NXE installed file without having to run the disc through your 360 and install it? a PC program of some sort that converts an iso or the extracted folder to an NXE "random characters" file?

I haven't hacked my liteon fw yet and it's be great if there was some way to do that because i'd prefer this method of discless install over quickboot, image extract, xexloader copying

You can A ) Delete and re-rip or B ) Browse your hdd using XexLoader and go to Content\0000000000000000\titleidofgame\ - Here you need to create a folder called 00004000 then copy Content\0000000000000000\titleidofgame\00007000\randomlettersandnumbers.data in to the 00004000 folder and also copy Content\0000000000000000\titleidofgame\00007000\original\randomlettersandnumbers in to the 00004000 folder and then delete the 00007000 folder and run the new release of NXE2GOD.

It will be out in an hour.

Does all this have to be done when using the new one, because I haven't had much trouble with this one?

Oh no actually it's either way I was having a blonde moment dammit that ini is going to confuse people.

Anything ripped from NXE and converted with NXE2GOD can be run on ANY console. So rip to console 1, run NXE2GOD, move files to console 2 and they will run. Or rip on console 1, move to console 2, run NXE2GOD and they will run.

Rip and run NXE2GOD on console one - Play Game = works.
Move HDD to console two - Play Game = works.

Confirmed.

great work!

btw, can you make it compatible with kernel 7371? i have a legit unmodded console with 7371 kernel. i install my game to the hdd then hook it up to my xbr to patch it. when i hook back to my unmodded console, it didn't work. asking me to install the game to hdd again. and game in memory -> hard drive shows corrupted data.

This may be a stupid question, but is there a Windows program that does this for files copied to 360 HDD?
My 360 hasn't had the JTag hack and i can't run custom code on it, but i have access to the files on my HDD through my connectivity kit ?? :/

Thanks.

You need a jtag/xbr box to take advantage of NXE2GOD

Yeah, if you read the whole thread, it is explained how to install.   muhaha.gif

Just put the xex file somewhere and run it from xexloader - probably the easiest for you since it seems you can't click and read  biggrin.gif

You mean title updates? You just copy them into the \Cache folder on your HDD.

Will I have to patch the TUs in any way ?
And how about DLC? I used to use XBL File Patcher for playing in conjunction with DVDs - any other things to do with NXE2GOD?

I have an issue with borderlands. Installed both DLCs and the TUs on XBOXHDD and with DVD it works.
After NXE2GOD i got the usual error: ...cannot be startet. Download again.

Edit: seems not to be a problem with the TUs or DLC - just tried TombRaider Underworld.
No TUs or DLC in place - same problem.
I'm using the V1.0 XEX Version on an 250GB HDD (might not be original MS, bought it for a dumping price from an chineese I found on ebay)

I did the following: insert the DVD, copied it via NXE to the XB360disk. Used XeXLoader to start NXE2GOD and answered the patch? question with (A). Then back in NXE tried to stared the game via XBOX360 Games and got the error "...cannot be startet. Download again..."

Do I miss anything ?

Thanx in advance!
