Another warning:

Games modified by this tool will only be GoD playable on the console that they were modified on.

I tried moving my HDD to another jtagged console and got "Cannot run" errors for all games.

Akula169@ is this the "Cant launch" error you are referring to?  I got a "cant launch" error when trying to run a game I had copied from another console hdd nxe install and put through nxe2god.  Just wanted to confirm same error message so I know what caused this error.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. I'm glad to see it's working for most of you smile.gif

2 bugs I'm aware of at the moment as someone pointed out with the LIPS game, if you're installed 2 games from the same title id it will delete the first one you installed and the transferring between consoles. Both of which I'm fixing.

If something *doesn't* work I need waaaaaaaaay more info than just the name of the game.

XBR or FreeBoot? Which version?
NTSC or PAL?
Official or Unofficial HDD?
Retail game or downloaded?
At what point doesn't it work? When running NXE2GOD or when trying to launch the game afterwards?
If you look on your HDD does the folder \Content\000000000000000\titleid\00007000 exists and have the live file and .data folder? Does the data folder have anything in it?
If you rip the game using NXE the manually modify the container with le fluffie does it work?

If you get the XEX version, open up a text editor and just save a blank file called debug.log in the same directory as NXE2GOD.xex and then run it, after it run that debug.log should be filled with everything that flashes up on your screen when it runs (Please be aware with debug enabled it will take A LOT longer to run ~1 minute).

Hardware details machine trying to run nxe2god content on:

XBR_3 Jasper 512
PAL
Unofficial HDD

Game problems:

SWTCW : Republic Heroes get a "can't launch" error after successfully running nxe2god and hitting play game button.

Game content specific details: Downloaded game to official hdd on an unmodded console with content then copied to modded XBR3 Jasper512 unofficial hdd.  Transferred content put through nxe2god.  Data folder contains 42 data files and PIRS  file.

XBLA Compilation disk - just get a black screen with big image of disk in centre of screen for any game I try to run. after successfully applying nxegod and hitting game play button.  App and console then freeze with black screen with big image of disk in centre of screen, and have to reboot.  Note: when I launch game normally with disc in tray it is normal to get disk icon image for a split second before game successfully loads. With nxe2god, game then not loading.

Game content specific details: retail disk.  Data folder contains 22 data files and PIRS file.

Haven't tried manual Le Fluffie method yet.

Hope this helps.

i cant stand MS bc i have several dead boxes sitting there. they could not make a dependable product.
if they would have allowed some homebrew we would nvr have to resort to opening our boxes.

but that neither here nor there.

THANKS AGAIN FOR ANOTHER GREAT HOMEBREW SOFTWARE

New version of NXE2GOD will be out soon that allows you to use games copied using nxe to one xbox on another xbox. So I think that will fix a lot of peoples problems.

XBLA Compilation disc - Possibly doesn't work when installed to hard drive, the fact that it actually starts loading means that it's got past the stage where NXE2GOD is responsible for it.

That means NXE2GOD didn't actually convert the file and you're just trying to launch the normal NXE copied game.

If you download the XEX version of NXE2GOD and in the same folder as default.xex make a blank file with a teext editor and save it as debug.log - Then use xexloader to launch the default.xex. Then send me a copy of the debug.log and I should be able to tell you where it's going wrong.

Hi i am doing exactley what you guys are doing and cannot get it to show in the game library?

I have downloaded both xex and live versions and tried placing the folder in the /Content/0000000000000000/C0DE9999/00080000/ folder on the HDD but it still will not show up. I am using an official 120Gb HD and have xexloader installed that was done the same way so dont understand what i could be doing wrong?

Can someone advice something for me to try please?

My bad i figured it out, i was copying the whole folder instead of just the required file  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Thanks anyway though guys!!

You can A ) Delete and re-rip or B ) Browse your hdd using XexLoader and go to Content\0000000000000000\titleidofgame\ - Here you need to create a folder called 00004000 then copy Content\0000000000000000\titleidofgame\00007000\randomlettersandnumbers.data in to the 00004000 folder and also copy Content\0000000000000000\titleidofgame\00007000\original\randomlettersandnumbers in to the 00004000 folder and then delete the 00007000 folder and run the new release of NXE2GOD.

It will be out in an hour.

You mean title updates? You just copy them into the \Cache folder on your HDD.

download the updates from xboxupdates.24.tl and put them in your /Cache directory?
