So how do you get this app on your 360? Does it work on all ixtreme versions?

No it has nothing to do with the ixtreme version. Your console needs to be jtag'd.
This app is going to be verrry useful when my exploitable box comes on friday.

I have to ask tho, since i have a two xbox system going (one legit, one jtag'd using the same hdd) is it safe to have the game files on the HDD?

And i can't wait for or xbox app that eliminates the need for a disk to be burnt meaning have the rip on your pc and transfer it to the xbox hdd as a game on demand eliminating the middleman disk

Warning:

I've noticed that this script has rendered some of my "Play from HDD" installed games no longer visible in the installed games list.  "Lips" and "Lips Number One Hits", so far.

Currently reinstalling those games to try again.

2nd try - yup - those games got nuked from the Full Games list again.  Looks like this still certainly "beta"

Hopefully this tool will get a GUI so that only games can selected and individually modified.

No, apparently doesn't work with freeboot, I'm converting over to XBR now on my Cygnos 2. I wanted to stick with freeboot, but XBR seems to be the way forward now.

Just use LeFluffie if you want to do them individually.

Heh - soon enough I think we'll have all sorts of tools like in the XBOX1 days.  ISO->FTP->360->GOD would be pure magic.

This app does not patch the XEX so no, it will not work on Freeboot.

It also will not work on XBR_1 because it also will not run unmodified XEXes.

Doesn't work for XBLA games then, aka XBLA Compilation disk?  Should it or is scope 360 games only?

XBLA Compilation content is in a 00004000 container for what it's worth.

Maybe because it has pir files on the xbox 360 acarde demo disk its too much for the beta release but im sure other games are just fine but this is great work for a beta BRAVO! Im really loving the how the scene is starting to explode! Maybe copy the disk then patch files then run NXE2GOD? I couldnt be sure im sure that will be fixed its verison 0.1 not near a 1.0 stable release for full use.

this works quite well actually, i stopped burning disks... and then the need of GOD container needs to be made manually but this is what I do.....

rip>(plug 1tb external hdd in) use Xbox_Image_Browser_v1.0 to browse image & extract files to my hdd....

>create container>launch game... no disk required thank god for this b/c dvd dls were getting wayyyyyyy expensive now no need too....

on the other hand i have a 120gig ms hdd hooked up and this program would be sweet as i have yet to try it...

can someone tell me this, with it being jtaged and have xbr_3 installed, can i put any laptop hdd in my official xbox hdd case and xbr will detect it? or what, i seen someone post saying they had 500gb hdd and they didn't specify if it was external.. is 250gb max for official case closure

Game is displayed as normal in the GoD list but also shows achievements and correct icon for the game.
NXE installs the game with minimum space possible in the correct file/folder format.
I much prefer this over Xexloader/Quickboot route now as done all my games in one go

dstruktiv @ some feedback for you:

SWTCW : Republic Heroes get a can't launch error.

XBLA Compilation disk - just get a black screen with big image of disk in centre of screen for any game I try to run.  App and console freezes, have to reboot.

Great news is everything else works fine...so BIG thx to you and your dev team.
