Xbox Sdk Full Install Not Possible. Why?
« on: January 04, 2010, 11:09:00 AM »

Ok i have Visual Studio 2008 with latest Service Pack installed.
But now...when i try to install Xbox360 SDK 7645.1 I cannot select the Full-Install Button, but just the minimal Install.

It says:

The full Installation option requires Visual Studio 2005 SP 1 to be installed.

I need the full install because of the hints and help files and the integration of the Xbox360 SDK  to Visual Studio.

Any hints....any urls.....

thx

Unfortunatly its not compatable with VS 2008. It has to be 2005 installed. If you install 2005, make sure you reinstall 2008 afterwards if it was installed originally or you have problems.

Are you saying

Remove VS2008
Install VS2005
Install XDK
Install VS2008 again?
