Even though it is cheap i would rather recommend a Maxtor HDD, they´re easier to lock and stuff...

Yeah, it did kinda seem like a no-name hard drive.

Plus, I don't really need 250 gigs.

IBM HD's are half decent. I managed to lock 1 out of 3.... soooo give it a try if you dont absolutely need live.

I'd go for it, that's an amazing price for a hitachi drive.

I have 2 hitachi 160gb drives in xbox, and both locked fine. They are quiet, and work great. I also have a hitachi 160gb sata drive in my other comp, no probs at all.

All Hitachi drives on that Xbox HDD site are lockable, so I am getting it!
