I don't think it's smart to mess with the nand.

I've tried and tried to get this to boot off my memory card with no luck. I've heard of people getting corrupted saves so maybe that's my problem.

Because the people doing xexloader have nothing to do with the people doing xbreboot, making them completely separate issues. And because the code for XBR is not public, they can't simply hop in and fix it.

This Viper360 is great in my opinion and it doesn't freeze like current version of XexLoader.


All it needs is the following:

1 - Creation of New directories
2 - Renaming Files/directories
3 - Safety Prompts for accions like DELETE


The rest is perfect, of course if you want to spice it up a bit, options like rip dvd game to a specified folder name, ect. but I think if we have the 3 above, Viper360 will be 4 times better than current XexLoader, right now it twice as better.

As for Launching games, I use QuickBoot, so I don't have much hopes for XexLoader on this part.

Freezing? My Xexloader doesn't freeze?

And it does all its supposed to...
So you can't say that Viper is better..

xexloader freezes every time I try to copy a game from a usb HD to the built in HD.

well said, and that's exactly what I'm talking about.


It's currently very buggy and it's own behavior is machine dependent.


I'm still waiting for 0.30 and see how that goes.


Currently, XexLoader and Viper360 fail to copy Call of Duty World at War, no matter how I do it, from DVD or ripped content from a FAT32 USB HDD.

Actually, I'll take that back, it froze every time I tried to copy Forza3 but has since copied eveything else fine. When i found Viper360 was completely useless, freezing immediately I tried to do anything and never coming back, I changed it to the GOD version and it's been fine.

Yes it's buggy, but for me it's the best at the moment.
