we don't have any prob with people making other loaders i mean why should we?
The fact that he writes what he does in the about is disturbing but we know we didn't steal anything so w/e
and yea smile.gif 0.12 is really rough && had a copy problem the Xmas release has no problems with copying huge amount of files..
so i hope you'll give it a shot..

we decided on an Xmas release so we could work to a date and have a nice theme:)

Oh don't get me wrong, I love XeXLoader, and i'm super stoked about the Christmas release. happy.gif

British panties for the win! (I assume you guys are including that theme, which is awesome, I love the artwork)

I honestly do prefer XeXLoader, but Viper360 has some good potential too. wink.gif

No thanks, I like variety, just like in the original xbox days when we had a choice of dashboards etc.

I'll echo for the call to keep the drama private (in the real scene, not allowing it to get on webkiddy sites), but a diversity in apps is to be welcomed.

I agree with the variety of dashboards being available just like with the xbox 1, but I also do agree on a single library that all the apps for the 360 are based on. NOT the official xbox 360 sdk but like the free legal one that psp developers use to make apps nowadays. Why do you think so many sites host eboot files? Because the psp toolchain was made from scratch with no Sony code in it. The xbox 1 even has this in the form of the openxdk, though it didn't go very far a few apps and emus where released as well as an open source dash with no M$ code involved.

I really hope that the 360 doesn't have to go through the same "get this app from the usual places cause it contains M$ code" bs like the xbox 1. As a matter of fact I recall there being a sort of open source library released a while ago in the Xedk dev section as well. I just cannot find it after a quick search around.

Though I agree X-S is not the place for drama, go post about it on facebook.

Back on track... Thanks for releasing this its good to know that theire are a few people will to develop different apps that do the same thing, just in case one or the other does not work for someone. Now if only I can get my 360 to boot Xell and XBR.

looks like it was made by detox or crew (didn't he complain about the GUI and how the program was coded when XEXloader first came out?)..
looks like they wanting to get back at Freexex team after Le Fluffie having a bad word about a few guys, for stealing code lol, or maybe wanting to prove that they can make better software

Oh hey look. It's the guy who came in my topic(H3Unlock), and tried making arguments about shit he basically made up, because I told him a Halo 3 mod he made wasn't "leet hax" because he only spent a grand total of 1 minute on it.

Also what's Le Fluffie have to do with this? If I wanted to talk shit, I would've done it with a H3Unlock release.. But I didn't because I'm beyond that bullshit.. DJ Shepherd is just some butt-hurt kid like you, because he stated he was not a flamer, when I pointed out the definition of a flamer, and he couldn't take it..

If you didn't notice.. I commented on how poorly made this program was made.. And I did the same thing with XEXLoader.. What's your point?

Nice try, why don't you go troll me elsewhere.. You already got all your other posts removed, and you insulted staff here.. Why don't you go post more crap and get yourself in more trouble?

Testing Assassins Creed 2 from my USb drive and still receive lockups and slow downs.  It is actually a tad bit worse but its cool.  Thank you for giving it a try.

That's because slowdown is an XBR issue, not XeXLoader or any other launcher.

This type of bullshit drama IS NOT WHAT THE SCENE NEEDS.

What the scene needs is everyone to group together around one library, and make everything happen like the last Xbox. Have one team doing a dashboard. Have another team doing media player capabilities. Have another team doing utilities.

Etcetera. By stepping on each others toes and having two libraries to work with, everything is all over the damn place and stupid nonsense like this happens.

Gentlemen, I thank you very much for your work, but please, grow up. Work together for the greater good.

Well said. I have not been active here in years, since the Xbox 1, but do come around occasionally. For those of you loyal to the scene, this IS a very exciting time, so why the drama (as others have said).

To the author of this software, it looks like a nice job, and that you may be very talented, but PLEASE, work together so that the scene may prosper, AND, no groups will abandon a project due to flaming, etc.

Get organized and get the work done.

To all Xbox 360 scene developers (and Xbox 1 developers), I salute you all, and may development go smoothly.

No one in this topic that has posted is the author of said tool, and the person who uploaded the images to the site with the author being Viper, im guessing that's a coincidence.

Cpas, the author told me to tell you that comment is not directed to you, but other freexex members.

So does every xbr box have the slow down problem or is it hit or miss?

All XBR boxes it would seem... sad.gif

I've tested a few Xenons, and they all exhibit the same issues with the same games.

Like others have said, this release gets me excited for the future of xbox 360 homebrew. There isn't much yet, but I can't wait to see what will be around in a few months. With any luck, there will be as much variety as there was for the original xbox!

I have a xenon xbr, and USB loader works waaaayyy better than xexloader, if you have the same setup try loading a game with usbloader. i tested usbloader vs xexloader and was able to play L4D2 for 2.5 hrs, then my and my bro turned it off b/c we got bored, no hiccups, no problems. with xexloader, 5-10 minutes in it freezes all the time every time. (ive tested multiple times) i have similar results with borderlands.\

That tutorial is old though... I would recommend using Auto-Xbins instead. smile.gif
