Not at all, only thing you'd need to worry about is wiring up a power source for the 2tb drive.

would the xbox not also have power through that port? youd need to run a seperate line. but finding the powere in the xbox would be super easy

This is getting closer to xbox 1 ability. soon it will be a simple matter of ftp the files over, reboot and play

2tb external is a lot of drives.

Even then you could get yourself an external raid box and have unlimited space
