I'm not a programmer of this kind, but I think that the support for file systems comes from the kernel/dashboard. So xexloader can only launch files from devices with file systems supported by the kernel, which means just FAT, FATX and maybe HFS+. It might be possible to code a tool which accesses NTFS or even ISO files, but they will work only in this app, not in the dash/kernel, which means no starting games from such devices, only browsing and maybe copying to natively suported filesystem devices.
Maybe the kernel could be hacked to support NTFS and use a virtual device for images... but that's not the problem of the xexloader coders

Yes, auto directory renaming would be nice, as would be a FTP server (as I mentioned before).
I forgot FTP Server, that would make everything easyer. I wonder if the couldn't take the code from the xbox mediacenter and try to make it work with the 360. Mediacenter already has a FTP server and you can also start games from it. And HFS+ works with 2 TB hardrives and img files bigger then 4 Gb so if that would work NTFS isn't that important. However IMG/ISO support would be really great, I wonder how they did it for the PSP since you can start games as ISO or CSO/JSO and something more I believe.
But it's already possible to start Games from a USB Ext Drive if the files are extracted from the ISOS. Is it possible to use HFS+ for that Hardrive? Since I want to use the biggest drive possible....
I am sure that there will come better and better tolls, However I would prefer to stream MKV files from my computer then playing games om my 360...I have been waiting for a mediacenter for my 360 since the 360 came severall years ago. If xboxmediacenter worked on the 360 from the beggining it would have kicked PPS3's ass even more...
