I plan to JTAG my machine so I use use Homebrew. As a non techy I'm going to get someone else to do it for me. As far as I understand,I need to do the JTAG hack and then flash the NAND with XBReboot.

My question is, once I have JTAGed and have XBReboot on my machine, when further updates come out, do I need to open my XBOX up and reflash or can i do this without opening again.

You Can Flash the Nand with Gentoo and lflashc, but for a bad flash you need again lpt.
