 Well, in version .12, pressing 'Y' shows only .xex in a given directory...that's close.

Thanks HotKnife420. I'm not sure how I missed this. Plus I didn't see the person recording use the feature too. I'd like to see it start with only default.xex listed and then press Y to see all files.

lol, that will be a long way off yet, xextool on the 360 would be sweet even if it ran on xell or something?

Gonna start learning about 360 homebrew.

i am/was thinking of doing this i have a cygnos so i guess i could use that as the nand but its probably worth waiting as a bigger nand is bound to be better

you can also swap nands all together..

backup your large block nand... extract your config and kv
insert config/kv into appropriate 16mb bin.
remove large nand
solder in 16mb nand.
swap the proper resistors (2 resistors get moved)
flash 16mb nand
boot your arcade with XBR

LPT method for quick reading..

dump your first 2MB (80 blocks) multiple times until you get a %100 match.
flash xell (50 blocks)
boot gentoo.

run modified lflash script to dump 512mb nand in 10minutes. dump multiple times and compare to get %100 match. DO NOT input a second bin into lflash. it will erase your nand and not write. youve been warned smile.gif
reflash original 2mb (80 block)

can be done in about an hour with USB, probably 2hours with LPT.

unfortunately the scene is still tightly closed and no one wants to share. wont see no patch loading until that changes.
