*sigh* we need a sticky for this....

If you have the latest updates, either from LIVE or from the latest games, or have bought a 360 that has it preloaded, then NO, you cannot use this, and most likely never will be able to.

Regardless of the type of 360, you must NOT have the latest updates loaded, and to all those waiting for that to change, it would take an entirely new exploit to be found, so I'd say forget about it, sell your current box and go buy another one if you want to exploit it.

Thanks.

Any particular program you would recommend for this?

Yes, run XeXLoader and use the "CopyDVD" menu to copy it to USB, then hook it up to your computer and use this: http://tr.im/gamehack

Alternatively you can use Schtrom 360 Xtract to extract the game.iso from the complete backup you already have.  After this, you can open up the game.iso with Qwix like you would a normal Xbox 1 game, and extract all its contents to a folder on your usb drive.

I just use Xbox Image Browser 1.0 by Redline99.  Just open the ISO and extract the gamedata, it's that straightforward  smile.gif

I tried Mushihimesama Futari, Assassins creed 2, bayonetta and dragon ball z raging blast.
Had no problems with bayonetta and mushihimesama, but ac2 freezes in the city and dbz slows down at loadings.
So only wave4 games have problems?

yup, i just followed step two and it's working with no problems.
But with the disk you can copy xextool directly to the flash memory, so you can use it without the need of an HD. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

if im wrong im sorry but from the nfo it looks like step one is for those who can't upload to hd via sata etc, ie it does the same as step 2 as it goes into same directory just from disc instead of putting it straight onto hard drive but thanks for clearing that up for me

That's right, The disk is needed if you want to copy to the hd without the use of an adapter or without opening it.
I don't have a memory card to test, but with the disk you should be able to copy the app to the card as well.

I still can't get over how great this is.

I can finally play MY games the way I want to play them.
No more 500dB everytime I want to play a game. Old games/New games, all in Fat32 format. I can't wait. Will still be a week before I can find time to jTag.
Don't have to have anymore CRAP shoved down my throat, that is Xbox Live, M$, and updates.

Why the scene is so good to us, I'll never know. I'm thankful though, for people's hard work. One day, I might have enough PPC assembly, C, and hardware knowledge under my belt to give something back. Maybe next round, Power PC all the way around (Wii 2, PS4, Xbox 720)

Do you think this will recognize a drive with a Fat32 parition as the first partition? As the second partition?
(I've got a WBFS partition on my drive.)
