well since there are a couple of guys how have dev kits speculating wouldn't bring us anywhere... i mean every publisher will have at least one dev kit and i guess the big ones like ea will have quite a couple of them so anyone who has access there is theoretically able to create this

different thing though running on a dev kit... ok the porting job is great news but does it really help anyone? As I understand it with the Devkit you can pretty much do what you want and therefore i don't really see what this will bring to the end user (us)

During my time with a developer under atari, i had my own personal debug box, pretty much everyone did same with the PS TOOL which was basicly a pc in a gigantic ps2 case.  There wernt many development boxes in the office, to my knowledge there was only 2.

The development boxes are used to compile the sources, the debug boxes were used simply for testing.

Also, all the screens were captured from the framebuffer, or at least that was what i was lead to believe.

So is this project still alive or not? The lack of updates about it concerns me (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I'd really like to know too, and if it is, the dev IMO should release it for those of us with dev kits.

Yes, you did.

The leaker will be dealt with accordingly, when his time comes. It's nothing at all to brag about.

I never said it was hard to get and also I bet the author gave you permission to use his emu and then post about it on a public forum, and I have a pretty good idea who the leaker is.

Your right the author did not, in fact I don't know who the author is, but I'm glad that he made what he made, it's a great app, why he or she does not want it to be out to the public is beyond me it's a great piece of software. It's still private, because only a select few can even use it, it's not like everybody has what is required to play the game. Sorry that I posted about it. I dont give out stuff that I was asked not too, so dont worry about that.  If it's something that I found on google myself I'll give it to people, but if I was asked not to give it out then I will not. Sorry if I upset you Libtoem, know any private forums where it's ok to talk about dev type content?
