 What does that have to do with freeBOOT? if the only thing you are concerned with is pirating games go ahead and buy yourself an Xkey, freeBOOT and Xell are for running your own code ..... piracy is possible with it, but it's not the goal.

i really cant wait untill we get a hacked dash running then perhaps the scene can get back to what it used to be and back to what made this site great.

maybe XBMC will come back to xbox

what they were able to do with 700mhz and 32mb of ram was amazing

hd playback killed it

now with the new 360 imagine the possibilities

XBMC doesnt desrve that title anymore after abandoning their roots. They have a lot to do if they want to redeem themselves. Their PC front-end sucks dick and MPCHC still owns it in every direction. The only platform they had perfected was the console.

They should be grateful to get a second chance.

I think they have done very well for themselves in delivering a great media package.  I recently jailbroke my Apple TV2 and installed XBMC on it, after using it on the original Xbox 1 6 years ago, it was a great tool for me to share my library with the rest of my family.

Especially for free.

I could do with some help guys  

I used this on my pre-jtagged jasper 256 (pal) which has the standard wiring. I dont have an original nand dump as i lost it in a PC crash so I used a dump of the nand created via flash360 and my cpu key (used donor files option in this app and xell reloaded option - didnt mess with any SMC options). Then I used flash360 to flash the 66mb .bin to my xbox. Using eject xell reloaded works fine but powering up the xbox via power button or using a controller results in no boot and alternating top 2, then bottom 2 lights flashing red.

Is this recoverable or am i stuffed?

to clarify, the error is E52 (secondary is 0310), can i fix this using a live linux distro?

The xbox has a db25 connector left soldered inside but i dont have a pc with a parallel port to reflash via nandpro and xell reloaded no longer has the flashing option, i guess im stuffed here

SMC Editting is a total fail for me.

Here's what I did...

Selected Xell-Reloaded, Standard, Falcon...

General Options USA

Checked Use SMC Config Editor...

For Testing I Changed Thermals to
50, 52, 55
And Cut Out Temps to
080, 082, 085

Changed Region to 00 (RF)

Clicked Next and let it build the bin.

Saved it, then opened it with 360 Flash Tool v0.97

Thermals were 50, 52, 55... Cut Offs were 050, 100, 102
Region was 01

...............

This really boned me when I flashed 13599 to my box and was getting constant 2RROD overheat errors. Took a couple days of screwing with heatsinks and getting ready to send it out for another reball before I checked with Flash Tool and found bad Cut Out values. So I built a couple bins with your tool and there was always at least one Cut Out that was copied over from the Thermal side.

I'm still gonna use it, but I'll stick with Flash Tool for smc mods for a bit.

I fixed the issue by using rawflash v2 and a nand bin created with easy freeboot 5.33 from my nand dump that i got via flash 360, all working again.
