Any use updating from 12611 dash?

Do any games out or currently out require this new dash update?

Does it even add any new features apart from being able to read the new disc format gdr3 - think thats what it's called.

Also are the hacked hash sets avaliable yet (think there called that). That stoped the xmas light problem with swapped key vaults?

I can't seem to update to get the avatars and kinect support back  

I have updated the dash to 13146, I have installed dash launch 2.22 and set the updates to false, I have formatted a USB drive to fat32.

I downloaded the 13146 update from m$ but no matter how I place the bloody files on the root of the USB it won't to a thing

$$systemupdate folder
$systemupdate folder
All files placedin no folder on root

I have tried for the last hour on 2 jags falcon and a jasper but nothing I'm getting dizzy running between 2 rooms lol!!


Any help please please.

I have issues too when trying it via usb but after I put it on 360's external drive it worked.

Sounds like someone built your Nand using non-genuine KV, try using the original key vault (we get these all the time, dodgy outfits sell ppl JTAG's without their original KV to sell to ppl who do lobbies) Unless there is something else wrong, but I doubt it. Often early versions of rebooters seem to do this, usually someone brings-out patched version later that works regardless of KV. Try using lefluffie to fix ur profile(s) If they don't come good when u put them back on legit kernel.

BestPig Toolbox removes AP2.5 , This is news to me!!! I don't think his toolbox (as good as it is: should be out in about 2-3wks BTW, think he has exams..) removes AP2.5, I think that is done by either the image or one of the plugins (I can't remember freom the top of my head ;-)

if you have dashlaunch update blocker use $$ystemupdate folder($ instead of s)

Possibly an unsupported USB stick? I've had a few before, just burn the MS 13146 update to a blank cd if you've got one.
