We have released the OFW and CFW filesets for Lizard to support LT+ 1.9. Gecko and Toolbox remain unchanged.

LT+ 1.9 was released for Samsung, Ben-Q and Phat Lite-On drives.  Slim drive firmware has not yet been released from C4Eva.

The latest files can be downloaded from the blog page.

You must update to latest Dash 13146 prior to updating drive to LT+ 1.9.

Many thanks to those involved in testing and supporting Maximus Lizard.

i am a noob in this flashing process and as it is a standalonce I would like to buy a lizard.

Before I go buy that lizard can someone clarify these points:

If I buy the lizard will I be able to mod ALL drives, including slim 0225.

(How many slim drives are there btw?)

Will I have to cut some traces or do some soldering? If thats the case i am not very good at it,i most probably mess things up.

Thanks

CURRENTLY, the slim drives are "hardware locked" meaning that the chips cannot be written to. Currently....
also, the scorpion 2 probe is the no cut-no solder solution.
If you are looking for the most self contained solution, go for the lizard pro kit. comes with everything you need, its flexible enough to be a stand alone solution, and is modular tech which will allow for future upgrades.
that, and the friendly customer support is a plus.

gotta agree with dank4life, getting a lizard was the best solution for me.  no issues at all.  pre-ordered mine a month or two before release and got a few lizard accessories (scorpion for example) for no charge at all.

but the lizard might not be right for just everyone, so please check out the x360usb pro also and compare the two and see which one is for you.  i had been waiting for a drive flashing solution that worked with my alienware laptop and the lizard was best for me.

both seem to be quality products, i've never used the x360usb pro, but have thought about getting one and comparing the two for myself.  as long as the lizard does what i want, i'll stick with it for now. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
