Sneakypeanut released a new version of his Easy freeBOOT - an application which will automate the creation of a 12625 freeBOOT image for JTAG-able consoles based on the original NAND image. What's new/fixed: * Added in more SMC options * fixed odd.bin,crl.bin error from building leaked 12625 rebooter * streamlinded some code * implimented the improved xell * removed hdmi xell * fixed overwriting images * commented more code * fixed smc selection * fixed broken error exeption Things todo: * Maybe add xellous * Save to usb (not really needed but would be interesting to try) * Auto jtag (would implement but i dont want to brick hundreds of boxes) * Auto updater Official Site: n/a, by Sneakypeanut Download: n/a (might be illegal under DCMA/EUCD)

You have to get it elsewhere, not from here.  Such tools are not allowed to be offered here because they contain copyrighted work.

hi guys, i have 2 previous versions dashboard in my xbox360, i want to update to latest dash to play kinect games and such, could u guys point me a tutorial please?

i did once with a .xex app but now i forgot :S

Has anyone successfully used Sneakypeanut's Easy freeBOOT tool with a Cygnos V2.0? I keep trying with different combinations but cannot get it to work.

Any help welcome. I'm stumped.

just updated to 12625 using this app and its nothing but trouble. No avatars, tried usb sysupdate and burnt to disk as well, system already uppdated figured bestpigs freeboot would b out soonish and i'd give sneakypeanuts version a try. might as well wait for bestpigs methinks. Flashed back to 12611 for now and dashlaunch 2.21 nothing worth updating for anyhow.

download 0.04 freeBOOT Toolbox Maker v2.7a from bestpigs site for dash 12611(google bestpig top url), enter cpu key choose dump dir, choose file name destination as updflash.bin, click generate freeBOOT, select ur orig nand.bin and voila and then where to save it and done. place it on a flash drive stick it in the jtag press eject and let it do its thing. after its finished flashing remove the flash drive, pull out the power lead and hard reset the 360 for 10 secs plug back in and its done.

Also make sure u get the $Systemupdate for 12611(again google) and not 12625 as thats what bestpigs freeBOOT toolbox maker is flashing a 12611 dash. place that on a flash drive update and u will have avatars.

Then grab dashlaunch xbins and have fun

this saved my jasper that i flashed wrong. jtag tool wasn't writing xell for some reason so i gave this a whirl and my tag is working like a champ again =)

What is improved xell? does it have hdmi? ftp?

Is there an issue with creating freeboots higher than 9199? I had to reinject my keyvault after I created a freeboot for 12625 or else I would get christmas lights.
