Abgx360 V1.0.4 Released!

QUOTE
abgx360 v1.0.4 released!

Changes affecting all platforms:

- AntiPiracy 2.5 (AP25) replay sector for iXtreme LT+ firmware is checked for when a game has the AP25 system flag in the Xex set or when its media ID matches a list updatable through abgx360.dat (Fable III is the only game so far that uses AP25 but does not have the AP25 system flag set)
- AP25 replay data is Verified/AutoFixed according to your settings, albeit separately from the normal INI based Verify/AutoFix, so make sure to read the entire abgx360 output
- Video padding size changed to support the new AP25 replay sector using a variable which is updatable through abgx360.dat in case additional stealth sectors are needed so that the video padding check will not blank them out
- Removed short explanations of ISO filesizes (unnecessary, hard to keep updated and misleading in terms of SplitVid; just because an ISO has the space for SplitVid doesn't mean it has valid SplitVid data in that space)
- gzip compression is now supported when abgx360 downloads certain files
- miscellaneous small changes

So does this autofix the ap25 games so that we no longer have to find the correct ppf patch?

Yeah, I tried it with both Fable 3 and NFS. I didn't patch them, just let abgx do it for me, and they both worked just fine after burning on LT+.

Xecuter confirmed that abgx uses their patches behind the scenes.

As far as kreon rips are concerned, I take it that we have to wait until abgx supports injection of SSv3?

I'm ripping one of mine right now for this new LT+ firmware to see what happens.

Nothing can rip them properly atm.

I thought that 0800 firmware could do this correctly. If not, how are people making backups? I think I'm gonna sit this one out for a while until there is a better understanding. Better be safe than sorry.

If you read some of c4eva's irc logs, their is no ssv3. He said the ssv2 + ap2.5 is the same thing.

as it says ap2.5 is region specific, what happens with region free games? what if you have a region free ntscu SSv2/DMI iso fixed with pal ap2.5 stealth? theres only one SSv2/DMI combination on abgx for assassins creed 3 so i cant play with it myself yet.

edit: being dumb, just woke up and typed that before reading nfo today. it says AP25 SS are region specific for region locked games on LTplus nfo.

ok then, how about if its different over regions, what about being different between DMI locations? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

So whats the deal with Check/Fix video padding? Do we leave it checked or unchecked? It seems like it doesnt matter with the new abgx360 and AP2.5 but just making sure.

AP25 challenge/response data is different for different media IDs. There are at least 3 different versions of Fable III (all of them are region free) with different media IDs which all need their own AP25 replay sectors, but currently only the one with media ID D99E18E7 has AP25 data available. The different versions are due to localization differences for countries like France and Spain. Different SS/DMI combos for a given media ID have been shown to use the same AP25 challenges/responses so the "pressing" doesn't matter; what matters is the version of the game (Xex/media ID).

Hover your mouse over the info tip icon next to that option in the GUI and it will tell you everything you need to know about it.

Ive patched the images with AP25 info etc which is all good.

However, they are ssv2. Is this going to be safe playing online? I thought ssv3 was required.

Reading would answer your question. It's even on the xbox-scene.com frontpage.. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

As c4 mentioned, SS2+AP25 = SS3. So there is no ""SS3"" in that manner, it's just SS2 with additional AP25..

Thanks, I've been reading up a lot about it but must have missed that bit.

People!!! I just got an invite from microsoft to get out on Live in the end of the mont which means this weekend. My silver membership will be upgraded to gold those days. So everybody with Ixtreme LT and no means to upgrade themselves hold to your hat. Seem microsoft is trying to outrun C4Eve's new firmware they payed quite a buck for a now totally worthless tech. Seems you need the new dash to get banned and Benq or Lite ON drives, since all the other 360's or 99,9% died of old age or RROD as it is called in the machine world they are trying to ban as many pepople as possible at once since this ban need several stepps to work. Take a few days of and watch television or play with your newly hacked ps 3. I am telling you people you must be dumb not to se it, don't you think microsft reads all of this?

They are pissing their pants and they need to act now and when is a better time? when people get their pay checks are free at home with nothing to do, they want everybody to connect to live to get as many banns as possible for their money engenering something like this costs alot of money, First the kinect to give people a real reason to update so they can sneak a trojan in. C4EVE spotted the Trojan horse and put it on fire with the help of ABXG and the whole crew. This is microsoft diversion this Free weekend so they can storm the castle and kill as many as possible because they are loosing big and by now the only thing that can save them is a XboX 720 or at least something in the middle. Maybe a seroius mediaplayer 360 with WKV suppport and everything and totally renewed security. I am sure next time the laser will be directly connected to the motherboard and the motherboard will be inside plexiglas so you cant solder t even if you wanted. only way to reenginere it is to make it from scratch.they already tried to put epoxy on the solderpoints. The only next logical step is no solderpoint what so ever. This will be very expensive for them since if they don't make them foolproof you can't ever repair them so the warranty cost alone would make it impossible. If it breaks they need to replace the whole thing no more repairs. With their record to make it right they don't have a chance.....

thanks seacrest. i am happy to burn these 3 games onto verbatims now. big thanks for your work and quick release.

totally off topic but as its seacrest reading this:- i notice one or two of your ss/dmi uploaders still use 0800benq's. im sure these are not as accurate as liteon748 A0A1's. i was using a liteon for a year or so for ripping but ended up putting it in a mates 360. i then started using a benq as i had a few from old rrods lying around and i started getting slight angle deviations on the ss compared to my previous rips that i rar'd up when done 1st time. i tried all my benq's and had similar results with all of them. couldnt get exactly the same angles as my old rip. i then gave up on the benqs and got a liteonA0A1 again. i once again get exactly the same ss angles every time.

i also have a few ss/dmi combinations not in your database. one of them is a oblivion xexcrc16ACAA37 ssv2 that replaces a ssv1 only game. i guess you cant trust me on the ones not in the database, but the oblivion one needs sorting out. pal uk retail by the way. its a pal/ntsc one which has the same xexcrc as a scene release one. http://www.maxupload...1290593710.html
