Also... I may or may not have fixed the MD5 problem by recoding the multi-file IO.  I'll have to run some more tests later, but looks like it it is still broken.  Weird, it worked for some things.

Hope you figure it out, if you do, it means that the stream manipulator is perfect which would be awesome by itself.

Quick update on what I have semi-planned (I say semi because I'm just like that):

A few ideas I had in mind were to allow the user to create known/cached folders so they don't have to look up title ID's or whatnot (this is actually done, but I don't really like the way that I presented it.  I had another idea of designing another form to sort of look like how Steam can organize the games with an image that represents it -- in this case being the game's icon taken from a package, and then cached (see here: http://thefrugalnerd...amlibrary.jpg))

New folder stuff... http://i.min.us/ijU1MU.png

Another idea that I wanted to do was have tabbed browsing so that you could open multiple drives in one window and transfer between them, but I'm not too sure how the transferring between them would go (although it would be pretty easy I believe).  This would allow me to easily allow opening custom backups too wink.gif (and recoding the Main form!  Very messy...)

The last thing I had in mind was fixing the god damn auto-updater.  Broken as Hell...  I'll probably also be compiling a DLL if I do decide to do the transferring content thing, since that will most likely be the last change I'll make to the core, and going along with this I added a function for getting the total amount of free space left of the drive (off by a few clusters for now (haven't even tested lol), but I'll go about fixing that later).

Here's the latest dev source:
http://clkxu5.com/dr...re/src/fatx.zip

On another note:
I went to PAX East, which is mainly why I didn't do anything else above in that build except for the folder stuff.

I have a feeling I'm going to push an update out today with these in there, because the other stuff will take a bit longer to implement.  I found a bug in two of my IO's as well, so I want to get those pushed out.

clk,

dang, i've been gone a bit (finishing up building our new house, moving) and you have made some great strides with pbde.  great work clk.

now that things have finally settled down on my end, i'd love to pick back up with ya and lend a hand again.  i'd like to get the latest build and the latest sc from ya if i could.

well i also upgraded my alienware coding laptop to win7/64 and i need to reinstall vs, but no biggie there.

again, awesome work you've been doing!

Awesome! The latest source is always at http://clkxu5.com/dr...re/src/fatx.zip
Personally, I wouldn't recommend looking at any of the source (except the core FATX classes themselves, they aren't bad) until I recode the main form.  It's very ugly, messy, and makes Cheater912 want to vomit.

thanks, appreciate it.  come on now, nothing is that bad wink.gif

Can anyone tell me if it´s possible to install the game in the HD directly from ISO with this software? Because my DVD drive is having problem in reading in the middle of the discs. It detect the game, but when I try to install it from the dashboard, it always give error in the middle of the copy process.
Obs: My xbox is not jtagged.

No, and the reason for that is because in order for the 360 to validate the package, I believe it needs to be signed with your keyvault.

What's up CLK? I hope the development is going smoothly, I saw that poop message of yours in the quick message. if I know one thing about programming after all these years, sometimes a little self confidence and being focused could do wonders, I found myself times and times again to comment a large portion of my code and replace with something far better in a quarter of time I put in the original code biggrin.gif Nevertheless you have achieved what others didn't in such a short time, keep up the good work my friend. wink.gif

Its possible to add option to open folder from local hdd/usb fat32 hdd with content/0000000000000000 structure to manage games/dlc/xbla, delete/copy/move them ?

That would be great for jtag users with external usb drives (fat32 formatted)

Yeah that should be coming sometime next week.  I haven't worked on it at all, but I start spring break and seeing as though I just went on vacation I'll have a bit a free time.

After I was trying to recover some deleted files, I forgot that some of it was DLC and the app stopped working and then I had to exit out of it and now I can't go back to my profile.

Here is what keeps happening.

I like this tool and everything but know it won't read my profile, if you can help, that would be great.
