See what the debug version gives you as far as an actual error:
http://clkxu5.com/fi..... Explorer.exe

Did you try to rewrite the files and close it while the app was doing it or something among those lines?

It was starting to extract a DLC file and then it "stopped responding" or something. Something happened and I had to close it, or else I would have let it keep going. I can't remember exactly what happened but if it didn't seem like anything, I would have let it do it's thing but that wasn't the case.

EDIT: The "Unhandled Exception Occured" error popped up with that version. It will open every other folder but my actual profile.

It didn't have  "details" button to see the details of the exception?

If not, sorry to have you download something else, but this one should ask if you want to show a stack trace when you get that error.  Press yes, then on the dialog press press CTRL + C then paste the result here.

   at System.Drawing.Image.FromFile(String filename, Boolean useEmbeddedColorManagement)

   at FATX_Browser.Main.GetIcon(String Name)

   at FATX_Browser.Main.ReadFolderData()

Not sure what that means, but I hope you get something out of it. I also don't mind the downloading of stuff, anything to help what is going to be an amazing program. smile.gif

Ooooh, that error makes some sense.  Thanks for reporting that, (I hope I) just fixed it for you!

Check that folder for a bad image, since for whatever reason it's refusing to load the one that's there (should be named FFFE07D1)

I've always wanted to do something like this for some reason. lol But thanks and I'm pretty sure I'm going to use this program a lot more.

Awesome! An update should be pushed out here in the next couple of days for everyone with that fix (plus many others) and some improvements.

For some reason, after my 360 RROD on me and I got it back from repair, it made a new content and cache folder instead of using the old ones. Now all my saves are still on the HDD but I can't access them. Your program is the best one I've tried to use so far, but I'm still getting some errors with it. Here's a screen shot of the errors and the folders with that strange character in the name.

CLK, If you could figure out how to get into those folders, you will be my bestest friend ever.

I can't exactly tell what's causing the error form here, but if you have some time later I could look at the disk in a hex editor (via Teamviewer or something) and try to diagnose the problem.  Do you recall what the error before the stack trace was?  In all honesty, I feel as though the FAT chain for those are corrupt and so it's pointing to the wrong cluster, and is trying to read something it shouldn't.

When trying to opening the folders the error it gives is "Data error (cyclic redundancy check)." Also when trying to extract the "Co|-ent" folder anywhere it says "Illegal characters in path" and cancels the extraction.

Yeah, sounds like it's just going in a loop trying to read stuff.  If you want to PM me your AIM, MSN or something among those lines I'd be more than happy to take a look at the drive to see what's going on.

I played with your MostRecentBuild biggrin.gif and it was very good, It will get even better once you could copy/move data in between these two windows biggrin.gif, but I encountered this error from the custom backup viewer, here is the exception:

Sorry that I didn't try this sooner, I had so much sh** happening recently, I feel quite exhausted even now sad.gif

I actually got the same exception and strangely enough was going to look in to it as soon as I read this... weird...
