If anyone gets the error screen that says "'ibuild.exe is not recognized as an internal or external command"
Just put your original nand file in the root directory if this program. It worked fine after i did that.

This program is really awesome just because of the fact you can easily do the AUD_clamp fix which is very good.

Well, I found out that if I do not remove power (pulling plug) to the board I can get the 12611 dash running after flashing. I can turn off the box and reboot it and it is fine. If I remove the power to the board it will no longer boot. I then have to reflash with my xbr.bin and start over. I think it is a problem with the smc code.
Any ideas on this one?

Easily updated my 512mb Jasper using 360 Flash's dump (not my original, which I also have).

Some things I noticed:
-My MU was unformatted and deleted. I had to reformat it. Luckily I keep the MU empty anyway
-My system settings were set back to factory default (not a big deal either)
-I lost the avatar I made for my profile (profile was saved on a HDD)
-My CPU and GPU temps are 1-2 degrees higher using the new dash (compared to 9199). I'm guessing the new dashboard is just more graphics and cpu intesive.

That is all for now.

**UPDATE**

Updated my dashboard from Micro$oft's site to get my avatars back. That's resolved.

I did, however, get an e70 error (E70: Hard Drive Error - Hard drive not found) after updating the avatar pack. Why did that happen? Seems fine though after a reboot...

Lol...figured it out!

On the thumbdrive that I used to update my avatars, I had default.xex in the root. That was confusing the 360 and whenever I booted with the USB drive plugged in, I got e71 error.

So for testing's sake, I removed default.xex from the root. I then left my USB thumbdrive plugged into the xbox. It booted without any errors.

I guess it was looking to launch the dashboard, etc from my dinky USB. Silly xbox.

Well, I don't know what I am doing wrong but it wont boot the new dash once I pull the power cord.
I can shutdown and restart without any problems but the second I remove the power cord I get a
blank screen and no start up lights. Then have to use nandpro to reflash my xbr flash back to
restore it. I tried several builds using the stock bin. I tried building a bin file with the
xbr bin but it came back saying some files where missing. Just don't know what else to try.

For anyone that runs into the same thing I have I will document what I did to resolve it.
I was running XBR with 8955 dash when running into the above problems. I loaded freeboot
toolbox maker by BestPig and tried to make a freeboot image from my original bin. This
bin was at CB 1903 and 4552 dash. The toolbox failed with error "freeBOOT could not be
created correctly". So I used my xbr.bin that was at CB 1921 and 8955 dash. It then made
the freeboot.bin that was at 9199 dash. I used that file in easy freeboot and rebuilt
my 12611 image. It now boots properly even when the power was removed.

Hope this helps someone...

I just tried using freeBOOT_ToolBox_Maker25r2 (Best Pig 2.5r2) and it is still the same, hangs on the splash screen.....

Found one solution for that:
http://www.xboxhacker.org/index.php?topic=...18390#msg118390

I haven't tested it, but couple of guys get things working. Hopefully this is our solution!

Thank for that! it worked a treat. I ran the program over the 12611 image created by FreeBOOT Toolbox 0.04 and then update via Flash360. It now boots into the DASH fine!.
Thanks for all your help, and the help of the community in whole.  biggrin.gif

Just used this on three of the jtags (2 Falcons and 1 16mb Jasper) I have laying around. Upgraded from freeboot 0.32 9199, worked flawlessly each time. Didn't even use the original nand dumps either. Great piece of software jester.gif

PS: don't forget to install dashlaunch to bypass ap2.5
