Exiso.exe Gui Front End (rarto360 V2.6)
« Reply #15 on: September 15, 2010, 05:53:00 PM »

This isnt working for me. When I hit start it errors out. My PC user name has a space in it.
All the settings are correct. It's just it'll error on trying to find "C:\Users\My Name\360Game"
it posts the error - Windows cannot find 'C:\Users\My'. Make sure you have typed the name correctly, and then try again.

popolski,Odb718: These issues are from having the space in the path, I will try and fix it tonight.

For now - put the RarTo360 folder it in a location with no spaces and it will work.

Now i have this problem : "Transfer stops on first uploaded file with 0 bytes shown on 360 is usually a networking issue.
-check your settings and make sure you dont have firewall on or that you dont have anything funky in your hosts.ini file."

But the Windows XP firewall is shut down and the hosts.ini is empty...

permission denied error has only been seen on FSD2, have you tried xexmenu or FSD1?

Have you restarted the xbox 360 then tried re transferring or restarting your PC? it should work after doing this.

Also delete any partial folders on the 360 is a transfer fails.

this works great for me and heres a few pointers for the guys that cant gett it working as it toke some time for me to get it right.

1.make sure you have the latest java installed other wise you wont get any main program coming up.

2. This will not work with freestyle dash v2

3. edit the settings file with your details (note i changed the bottom to where the program is installed)
********
ip = 192.168.0.8
gamesDir = Usb0/games/
startLoc = d:\apps\xbox

********

if you cant get it working check the logs folder to see whats not working
If its worked you should get this in your log

user variables set
paths set
Making games directory on 360 via ftp
Extracting sp-logogh.iso to Usb0/games//GuardiansOwls
Renaming SystemUpdate Folder
Process finished.

I removed startLoc in 2.7 because it wasnt working properly - what it was supposed to do is set the location when you click browse, since most people probably use the same folder for all their games it would save a couple clicks.

Hope to see a batch upload que in the future releases and support for FSD2. Keep up the good work.  biggrin.gif

Unfortunately it's a bug in FSD that prevents it from working there. Spoken to Mattie and hopefully the FSD team get it resolved before the next release wink.gif

Okay updated to 2.8, hopefully bug free regardless of spaces in any path or even in the rar file itself. ISO filename still cannot contain spaces.

Adding a batching system should not be too hard and as long as there are no bugs left in the base code I will take a look at adding this feature for 3.0

Thanks again for all the great feedback =)

Keep up the good work ! Is it working with a multi-rar archive ?

it will extract whatever archive you select in the browser - if its a 10 part rar file you can just select any part and click start.

In rar mode, you can still only have one ISO in the directory you extract to -- otherwise due to the scripting it will just grab the last .iso file in the directory and transfer that.

I´m getting this error

does anybody knows whats happening?

From the looks of it you getting permission errors which normally is typical of FSD. Can you confirm you using xex-menu and not the ftp while in FreeStyleDash?

I use FSD with no issues, it may be hes using FSD2 which is where the "permission" type errors seem to come from.

I still have to get FSD2 and play around and see what FTP commands I can get to work.
