I don't personally need it, but little tools like this are always nice to have as they can really help some people. smile.gif

Lots of people need it as the whole retail='360' devkit='emulator' stuff was a bit ambiguous at best (I'm not sure I understand it entirely myself!) The whole autoscan thing seems to cause a lot of crashes when you have like 500gb of content. I'm guessing it's an error handling thing, but if fsd2 times-out while doing the initial startup scan it comes up with the error box, If you choose try to continue it seems to put another timer on recovery (Not long enough to rescan and download artwork over crappy internet connections!!) I'm sure if they extended or removed to time-outs then the dir scan could finish....

Just an Idea, I would log it on their bug-site but it seems to have issue with my browser or something

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Also when I just grab the file from FLashXP and try to open it fsd2content.xml. I get this.

CODE
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
