Way To Extract Nxe-installed Games?
« on: July 14, 2010, 12:24:00 PM »

OK, I have been searching all the popular forums for two weeks, even though I though this would be a simple thing.  I just want to extract the files from NXE-installed games.

They have all been NXE2GODed.  I know I can use GOD2ISO, then exISO, but it seems like about 2 extra steps.  Is there a way to extract GODs directly?

Thanks for any help!

Just if you ask, no you cannot rebuild an NXE rip or any other kind extracted, ripped content 360 game to a fully padded 360 iso (7.29G) to play on non-jtag consoles.

Thanks much, Mate!  Naw, my buddy just bought a JTAG, and wanted to clear up room on his stock 250GB by dropping his GODs on a USB.  I couldn't figure out a way to launch GODs from USB with NXE, but it's simple enough to build QuickBoot shortcuts pointing to the XEX on a USB.

Anyway, went through GOD2ISO and all that, and it all worked well.  Just asking if, for the future, there is a more direct, elegant, cleaner way to do it.

Or maybe I missed something about launching GODs off a USB from NXE (buddy doesn't like XEXMenu or FreeStyle)...

Anyway, thanks again!

Or keep same structure on USB for the GOD games and launch via FreeStyle.
