cant you just FTP into the drive? you will have full access to the drive from your computer including all folders.

Am I really the only person using a HDD in a USB enclosure as storage?

Thanks. I can't be the only one with a bunch of old smaller HDDs and enclosures lying around that I've finally found a use for as 360 storage. Believe it or not, I've never owned a thumb drive at all.

I have same problem. Only usbxtaf will browde the folder on the hdd/usb adapter. It starts to read and transfer to pc then I get a "this proggie has caused an exception" do you want to continue... choose yes but it doesn't. Seems to happen randomly, ie at no particular file in the transfer queue. I'm using Windows 7. Tried using xp compatability mode.. no use. Would like to transfer title updates as no internet connection to xbox.

I guess you and I are the only people taking advantage of the last Dash update that allowed external HDDs.
