Xnand Healer V0.4
« on: June 08, 2010, 04:50:00 PM »

This app started off as an uncrippling tool but it's now morphed into a general purpose NAND dumping tool that should really aid the first part of the JTAG'ing process.

New in XNand Healer v0.4:

      - Big Block analysis and fixing now supported
      - Now have the choice to fix NAND either from actual NAND or a virtual nand (image file)
      - Added "CB" readout and exploitable indicator
      - Added partial NAND analysis - can analyze images even if they don't start at block 0
      - Added Absolute and Relative addressing in the Hex Viewer (to accompany partial NAND analysis)

I'd like to add ability to read only the first 'n' MBytes - I'll hopefully get round to that very soon.

You can download v0.4 here.

So, in fact - this tool can`t remap bad blocks?
If i have dump with one bad block and i have build freeboot image from this nand i should remap it again.

Here you can see what i mean:

It is original dump.

But when i building new freeboot image it losts info aboud remapped blocks.

No it can't currently remap blocks in another NAND to match the bad block remapping of the original.
It really just points out if there are bad blocks and then you need to use another tool to do the remapping.

However, it should be very easy for me to include a built in remapper. I think I may look into it.

Thanks a bunch for the update!  I really like the feature of being able to read from a nand file instead of actual nand.

Hi, I am having problems with this? My problem is  that, when i hit read selected ut says 'C:\Documents' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

When the file path is displayed at the bottom of XNand Healer, it is the same as what i would type if I was using NandPro on its own. Any ideas? Thanks

Can you confirm your location of nandpro, your working directory and that you've configured the settings to point to the correct location of nandpro?

I am being told this when trying to uncripple, perhaps you can help? I notice that 2005 date - it should be 2010, I think I've had the date set wrong for a long, long time. I was banned in around october, before COD MW2 came out.

Thanks in advance for any help,
Kieron
