BestPig released a new version of freeBOOT ToolBox - a tool that allows to create a freeBOOT image based on an original or XBR dump. Just tried this version and still having the same problems as with v2.2 on a 64mb dump of jasper512 nand (and I have matching dumps as well that were fine for building xbr3).
It will complete the process but if i hex compare it is different everytime from offset 1080 and onwards.
I have tried on a XP PC and win7 64bit??? same result.
I would be happy to just do with ibuild but it always says cannot open 7371.bin no matter where I have it (usually in the same directory as ibuild), does the same with known good falcon dumps as well.
Can anyone get jasperBB to work with this, I'm pulling hair out. Jtag tool throws errors up as well even running as administrator when handling the 64mb nand.bin

same windows 7  xenon dump original dump and correct cpu keys. Ive made XBR3 just fine outa this. Sigh >_> when is xbr4 gona come out

lol, probably never. Obviously there is a problem with your dump, have you tried manually moving back your bad blocks (if any)?


You made XBR3 just fine because it only requires encrypted KV and config blocks, obviously not a proper extraction using as much per-console data as possible.

If possible, can next version add the ability to choose between FreeBOOT .30 and .32? Because .32 doesnt let you switch keyvaults in your nand cuz of hash checks but .30 works

Dude, FreeBoot 0.30 and 0.31 have issues like profile corruption, savegame corruption due to profile corruption, Xbox1 emulator does not work (no memory patch either)

You must be joking if you want obsolete defective hacks in your box...

I swapped keyvaults in a freeBOOT image yesterday...
Anyway, I've been using version 2.2 for a while, and it's great. I've done about 6 Xenons and updated my Jasper with it (my 66MB image worked fine), I use Flash360 and choose to keep the existing kv and config infor (though not for the one that I kv swapped).

Only just found out that 360 flash dump tool now supports jasperBB since 0.92 came out, and yeah now I know I have a bad block ID 0x01d2 found @ 0x1ff, have never been able to do anything with it except extract kv and config for xbr. So you're saying if I manually shift it back, I should be able to do some good with it, makes perfect sense.

try switching out your banned keyvault for an unbanned keyvault on a falcon, zephyr or jasper. If you use FreeBOOT .32, you will get christmas lights. Only fix is it to use FreeBOOT .30
