So is there any downside to shifting to freeboot?

Anyone know why a previously jtagged 360 wouldn't boot in to Xellous anymore?  I'm trying to apply this update and I've got everything ready except I can't seem to make it boot in to Xellous.  I'm using the "plug and play charger in the back USB port" method and all I get is a blank screen.  I'm using the VGA connector which worked perfectly fine when I was flashing XBR.  I thought maybe the cables weren't working so I watched my routers DHCP table but it never shows up in there either, so I'm fairly certain it's just not booting.

Sorry about the thread hi-jack, great work on this tool!

Try booting with eject...that's the newer method...

App needs support for "Jasper512," although it was easy to edit the createnand.bat file it creates to: "ibuild.exe c freeBOOT -c Jasper512 ..."

Otherwise, it works well.

Tried that as well, no dice.

But I ended up using Flash360.xex and it worked great.  I just copied the updflash.bin file from the bin folder that this application made and it worked fine.

Also, for some reason I kept getting hard returns after my CPU key when I would hit "Extract kv.bin.... etc", but I was able to see the command in the .bat file that it generated and fix it so everything was fine after that.  Not sure if it was because I was copying & pasting my CPU key in to the box from a text file or not, I'm guessing maybe you need to hand type it in to get the proper response from the program.

Again, great app!

Ya... last button was buggy for me too.  Look for \bin\image.bin and rename to updflash.bin.  Flash that file using Flash360.
