Coolshrimp released a new version of Jtag Tool - an all-in-one GUI installer to create and put freeBOOT 0.032 on your jtag'able 360.

Whats new/fixed (since v1.70):
* Fixed Jasper 256/512 Clean Nand Error
* x64 DLPort File Added
* Fixed Patches Bug

could i use this to update to freeboot from xbr? I dont have my original nand dump or cpu key, because the douch i got the box from will not send them(he tried to rip me off).

You can get the CPU Key by booting the 360 with the eject button and getting the key in Xell. Not sure if this was the tool to upgrade from XBR to FREEboot w/o an original NAND, maybe someone else can answer that for you.

Does this fix the problem with Jasper 16a consoles which causes no power up on the 360 after flashing XELL onto it? This happened to me on first use of the JTAG tool 1.62 and it freaked me out. Had to flash XBR onto the console first to get CPU key then go back to JTAG tool to build the new .bin file. Would be nice not to have to do that next time. Otherwise its a sweet tool.

when i try to create a 256 jasper freeboot bin its says

System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not find file 'bin\XB1\jasper 256.bin'.
File name: 'bin\XB1\jasper 256.bin'

any ideas
