QUOTE(DeathGrind @ May 17 2010, 12:57 AM) *

hey everyone was looking for some advice.  Can I use this program to flash freeboot 0.032 without having to open my xbox?

I have my original nand image and can get my CPU key from xell.  I would like to use flash360 to flash freeboot from a usb hard drive, i just forgot how to use flash 360.

I take it I do all the steps in the help section of jtag tool v1.71, and after I have my freeboot image, I could use flash360 to write it to my xbox.  I just need to know the steps to be taken after I get my freeboot image for use with flash360.

I've been putting this off for a while, but I would like to get this done.  I just don't want to have to open my Xbox AGAIN.

Thanks

1. Yes you can  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
2. If you have updated xell to xellous you don't even need flash360.  Once you have built your freeboot image change the filename to "updflash" place on memory stick inserted to any 360 usb port, load xellous by hitting eject which will see the update and flash - done

I ended up getting this to work on jasper 256 with xbr..I kept getting errors when trying to create a bin file in 1.71 and 1.74 ..I ended up getting freeboot toolbox and making an freeboot bin file with patches..After that I used jtag tool 1.74 to write the freeboot bin file back to the 360..Everything works on it and it reads 9199....

One thing is my nand.bin 277 megs when made to freeboot.bin in freeboot toolbox  came out to 67 megs....Is this normal???

Thanks
