thanks, i just realised it will only create a backup if the flag is not all FF's, so it doesnt check if your changing the ID's.

backups get created in the same location as the original file with a *.bak

I'll be embarassed if this is a simple question, but how do you FTP to the 360?  Is that native functionality?

FTP will only work on a jtag 360, just run xexmenu or FSD

so my game saves r still corrupted the app removed the flags and i used a different hard drive to put my backup saves on. i checked the saves on the 360 and it all looks good but when i load my games it says they r corrupted

did you add the ID's of the new hdd/console and resign?

When I try to uncorrupt a save file it says it cannot access because the file is being used by another program.  No other program is using the save file.  I use a save file from the unbanned xbox to resign the IDs and profile but when i load them it says they are still corrupt.  not sure what im doing wrong.

make sure its not open in Le fluffie or a hex editor. Ill have to go through the code when i get home, i may have forgotten to close the files after reading them

le fluffie and hex editor are not open, well i dont have either so that isnt it.  I got the save files off the 360 HD with xport360.  Does that have anything to do with it?  I made sure xport360 was completely closed before I tried consaver.

if you have the files on your PC, you can reboot to ensure no other programs are using those files

I restarted and the same message pops up.  Does it always say that it cannot resign because kv.bin is missing?

The latest version doesn't seem to be modifying my profile at all, whereas previous versions did.

Are you getting the files via in-built ftp or adding them manually?

to resign correctly, you need to place a kv.bin in the resources folder

partly correct. it should be removing the banned flag and resigning if needed, but wont change the ID's as some people were having some trouble
