MODFREAKz released a new version of 360 Flash Dump Tool(info), an application that will allow you to decrypt/encrypt and extract various parts of a XBOX360 flash dump and much more! Instead fo haveing a cpu key to extract now u can do it w/o.

Used Flash360 to dump nands on both my Xenon and Jasper, then used this tool to edit my config to region free/US/NTSC on both from region 2/EU/PAL.  Renamed them updflash.bin and reflashed the 360 with flash360.  Everything worked perfectly on both boxs.

What is x value? If I have this value can I get dvd key from non jtag?

why must every news story have can i do this on non jtag xbox every time, even on stuff that has no refrence to jtagged xbox's like new trailer for "dead space 2".......DOES THIS WORK ON NON JTAGGED i wish everyone would just get a jtagged xbox and stop bombarding everything with the same line, its like every hombrew release people seem to forget that in the last homebrew relese everone said "no homebrew works on a non jtagged box and wont unless some new hack comes out which is pretty unlikely for a long time yet" reminds me of red dwarf, Yes Dave everybody's dead............ everybody's dead dave

If I have jtag, I can already get the cpu key easy and extract the kv, so what is the use of this new feature?

Well You are wrong. I have just tested manual fan control + the new auto thermal control on
NON jtag falcon xbox and it does work.

Have you tried the Movie DVD region to FREE? <<<(this would be the only thing that interests me on a non-jtag)

I changed fan control without cpu key. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I am from Israel, so all my DVDs are zone 2(europe), no way to test free zone, sorry.
Maybe I can change to zone 1, and test that my zone 2 DVDs do not play.

The only reason I want region free on non-jtag is due to the fact that I live by the borther of the U.S.A and they're movies are region 1 and my movies are region 4, very stupid in my opinion since we are in the same continent and both NTSC, but oh well, that's business.

I'm gonna give it a shot on this one I have, don't matter as long as I do full backup of the nand.

So now I can inject the encrypted KV from one console to another without having either CPU keys?

I've got a falcon with 8955 dash, but no DVDkey. Going on this I could inject the KV from my other falcon (also running 8955 dash) and use the same DVD key?

Can someone confirm before I waste a few hours of my life trying?

regarding ibuild compatible files does this mean from my original 7371 dump i can extract a freeboot patched SMC?

when i select extract files and check SMC, it extracts SMC_dec.bin and SMC_enc.bin and also creates a freeBOOT folder with a smc.bin in it?
