Analogies aren't needed here. I understand completely... The problem was that xboxhdm formatted my hdd with wrong partition values. I used the slayer format method mentioned earlier in this thread and that fixed it for the most part, I gained about 1.5 gigs on my E drive, and F is the correct size now. Oh well, I'm happy with the results I guess.
