Ive got a strange problem with windows 7. I followed the readme and the program says its created the FREEBOOTIMAGE.bin but as soon as i hit ok the file just disapears from the directory. Why does the file disapear? Ive no other programs running in the background. Maybe a problem with UAC  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/uhh.gif)  Im gonna try xp.

Jasper 16mb with the older southbridge (correct version of XBR3 used).

Freezing/slowdown issues are known with XBR3 when playing certain games.  Some people can't even load some games.

I've been having issues with Darksiders.
Question:  How do I generate SMC.BIN to use with easy Freeboot?  360 flash tool generates SMC_dec and SMC_enc bins.  Am I supposed to rename one of these?

Just rename the file.

Yes it will replace XBR with 2.0.9199.0 and can do the same things as XBR can + a little more.

Could you clarify "a little more" please? Maybe that little more is a huge more for me.

I hope something like no region check (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Thanks.

I´m currently using XBR 3 on a falcon, and changing the region is a bit of a hassle

Its makes your console region free. I also like the feature that jasper BB can use onboard MU again.

The only problem is that the FREEBOOTIMAGE.bin file disappears after you click "OK", if this is happening to you just don't click "OK", open up the FreeBOOT folder and move the "FREEBOOTIMAGE.bin" out of the folder before pressing "OK".

Just rename the file.

Rename which file?  There are two of them.  Plus does it have to be "patched"?  If so, how do I go about doing that.

Exactly what I did. Nonetheless, after flashing the image onto my Cygnos everything works perfectly. Nice job sneakypeanut!

just tested that problem is fixed. new build will have a lot of new features but i had a problem with the file validation so this build wont check for 7371.bin, smc.bin or ibuild.exe, but i have added in browsing for nand file and you can load your fuses.txt if to get your cpu key. just sent new build to my testers should be up before the end of the day.

I downloaded the patched SMC.bin from the usual place, under Cygnos.  Now when I try to run the program I get the error message:

This application has failed to start because libeay32.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

So where do I find this dll?

Just download the libeay32.dll (google it) and place it in the map where you've put "Easy FREEBOOT.exe" and "ibuild.exe.
