I have been using the HDDHackr tool V. 1.22 for some time and have had no issues except when users try to play an original XBOX game. Despite having run ALL updates from XBOX Live the console persists in displaying the error that an XBOX 360 HDD must be attached (I read this to mean that the emulator is not being properly loaded from partition 2)
I'm assuming their is no support or explanation for this, but I was hoping someone could provide some specific insight.
you need to copy the backwards compatiblity files to partition 2. I think the newer HHDHACKR creates the partition but you need to check. You can get the files off an original xbox 360 hard drive or search for it on the internet.
you may want to download and install the backward compatibility system update from microsoft. I would only do this if you have games that don't play but are listed as playable on the list of games.
